You are a virtuoso musician ! In all saxophones your sound is absolutely beautiful, pure and classical ! I hope one day i can get a little bit like your kind of sound!
yeah! One of my students sent me a link to this. Really like it v classy as the original is a complete left swipe with saxos putting their teeth on the reed to get to a horrendos sounding super G# which even the dog next door can't hear. well done !
Great playing, of course. I like the cadenza too - it makes good use of material from the piece; it's a good showcase for the performer, but it doesn't try to do too much; and it's not too long. (I've heard some cadenzas for the Ibert that just go on and on... The piece is only 11 minutes, so I don't think the cadenza should be too drawn out.)
Everytime I hear this man its just... wow 👏
Much appreciated 🙏🏾 thank you!
Such a great combination of composer and performer.
Thank you 🙏🏾☺️

apparently you gave my band teacher an informal masterclass, now i can see why he says you’re so amazing 😭
This is truly amazing! The Ibert is maybe my favorite piece of classical alto repertoire and this cadenza fits and elevates it so well. Great playing!
Thank you so much!!
Absolutely fantastic!

Thanks so much for listening and for the support!
Superb playing and composition. Were you a student of Fred Hemke ?
Thank you! I went to Northwestern after Fred Hemke had already retired. My teacher there was Taimur Sullivan.
Have you ever heard John Edward Kelly's performance of the Ibert? His cadenza is phenomenal!
Oh, come on, man! At least hit the first few bars of the third movement!
Amazing performance! I really admire your phenomenal talent! Would you be interested in a paid gig with Sessions? ❤️❤️❤️
