Last I checked, my PC can handle the majority of games that come out today, including Cyberpunk with no issues. That was a grand back in 2017, so you can probably do the same or better for $600 today. On top of that, you don't need to worry about backwards compatibility.

Like, I have my moments where I can overlook CERTAIN things, like skin swaps and sound replacement mods and the like. But the other day, I was on GTA Online, and this a-hole kept teleporting behind me and dropping sticky bombs. And even when I spun around to shoot them with the assault-shotgun, they took no damage anyway. And then there are people like the ones shown in the video, clogging up the Battlefield chat box with how great there computer is. I mean seriously, my hardware is nearly three years old, and I'm still running games on Ultra-High settings at sixty frames. Stop waving your over-compensation around, and just play the game.

I never got the whole pc vs. console wars. It's true that pc is better than console, but console is a hell of a lot easier to use. No installing drivers, no having to build it, just plug it into the TV and you're set for another five years.

Eh, Nintendos sales have been falling for years now. The Wii plus DS sold nearly 300 million units, the 3DS still sold nearly 120 million plus the about 20 million of the Wii U, and now Nintendo only has about 60 million with the Switch. Nintendo just doesn't know what they are doing anymore.

"Only 60 million" yeah the switch has been out for 3 years whereas the DS (and it's many variations) was out for 13 years. The Switch is Nintendo's 3rd best selling console being behind only the Wii and NES. Plus considering the switch is only about halfway through it's lifespan, it could easily outsell the NES and probably come close to the wii.

It's due to how people these days define themselves by their product purchases and past times. You no longer play games, you're a "G@m3r!!!1." It's cringy. It's also why people will rush to defend a billion dollar company from any criticism. It's not that you're criticizing the company, you're questioning their life choices. Their lifestyle. Last I checked, my PC can handle the majority of games that come out today, including Cyberpunk with no issues. That was a grand back in 2017, so you can probably do the same or better for $600 today.
On top of that, you don't need to worry about backwards compatibility.

I know right? I've been a PC gamer since, well, technically since '98, and it's _never_ been this bad up until the past three or four years...almost makes me want to hrow my PC out and get a console, just so I can be part of the reasonable demographic. Mostly, my issues with other PC gamers come about when they hack or mod in online games. Like, I have my moments where I can overlook CERTAIN things, like skin swaps and sound replacement mods and the like. But the other day, I was on GTA Online, and this a-hole kept teleporting behind me and dropping sticky bombs. And even when I spun around to shoot them with the assault-shotgun, they took no damage anyway.
And then there are people like the ones shown in the video, clogging up the Battlefield chat box with how great there computer is. I mean seriously, my hardware is nearly three years old, and I'm still running games on Ultra-High settings at sixty frames. Stop waving your over-compensation around, and just play the game.

Eh, Nintendos sales have been falling for years now. The Wii plus DS sold nearly 300 million units, the 3DS still sold nearly 120 million plus the about 20 million of the Wii U, and now Nintendo only has about 60 million with the Switch. Nintendo just doesn't know what they are doing anymore.

"Only 60 million" yeah the switch has been out for 3 years whereas the DS (and it's many variations) was out for 13 years. The Switch is Nintendo's 3rd best selling console being behind only the Wii and NES. Plus considering the switch is only about halfway through it's lifespan, it could easily outsell the NES and probably come close to the wii.

Ofcourse they can run modern games, saying they can't is bullshit. But yes some games are poorly optimized ports. It's easier to optimize games for consoles because they are all the same.
But consoles are just mass produced computers that uses a custom Linux distro. The components are made by the same companies that make PC parts.
