@5:47...Quick Tip: Put garden gloves in a large kitchen ziploc-type- bag for storage. Spiders (black widows, recluse spiders!, scorpions, etc...) love dark warm places. I even store my family's gardening hats (usually baseball type hats) in ziplocs. {I speak from experience! lol}

Thanks for the video! We recently moved and this video just inspired me to go finish unpacking and organizing our garage! It's our first time having one so your tips were definitely needed and helpful! :) my husband also keeps our tv box, I wasn't big on the idea at first, but after moving two times already the box has been amazingly helpful!! All the packaging from when we bought it is still inside the box and makes it very easy to rewrap and transfer during a move. (hopefully no spiders get too cozy inside for you) thanks again!

Since we live in the south and there is no salt on the roads to control snow, we don't have a real need to have it power washed. I got it clean with just a good sweepin' We are lucky in that regard :) Thanks for watching and good luck with your garage!
Great job organizing your garage, it looks so neat and orderly now! As for the spiders, I'm totally with you - spiders are scary! They're all gross to me, but it's the fear that there could be a black widow or other poisonous one that freaks me out. If you commonly get spiders in your garage, and it sounds like you do, you might want to consider keeping your shoes inside a covered bin rather than have them exposed on the rack, just to be sure to keep the spiders out. Just a thought. :)

You may want to keep your gardening gloves in a gallon Ziploc bag so that none of them find there way into the gloves. Also, keep an eye on the inside of Charlie's shoes. I have a friend whose mother got a really serious spider bite when she slipped her hand into her gardening glove. She even ended up in the hospital. Love all your videos and the garage looks great. You have inspired me to do the same.

Nicely done, but aren't you worried that a spider might crawl in the shoes? It happened to me and out of habit i always shake the shoe pre putting them on and a red back spider made its home in a shoe. Glad of my habit!! Now I don't place any shoes out the house!!!
Spiders. I've survived being bit twice by "baby" Black Widows. I lived in a 100 year old house while I was in college and I loathe using pesticides. Now I smash my garden gloves all over with a hammer before I don them and I have thrown shoes away that were left outdoors. My daughter lost an expensive pair of Harley Davidson black boots that way, but I found a web on one. Mama just said "Nope! ;) Last year I apparently slept with a jumping type of spider in South America and got bit. I saw it jump out of a book I was reading and thought it was gone. I woke up with crazy itching and saw two pin pricks on top of my foot. I had a nasty blister on my foot for the rest of my visit!
Be careful with storing shoes in the garage ~ they become little spider caves! Also, before putting on any garden gloves, put the glove on the ground and stomp on it just in case there are any bugs hiding inside them. shudder!

We have always kept the TV box. We move every few years so it is perfect on moving day, also it also comes in handy when re-selling the TV.
