Honestly, in my case, I used Minoxidil and a beard growth kit that I purchased from Amazon US. After a couple of months, the empty spots from my beard disappeared almost entirely. I didn't trust these solutions before I tried them out, but now, I recommend it to anyone who's interested in growing their beards! The product that I used is called Complete Beard Growth Kit from FOLLICLE BOOSTER.
I've been trying to find evidence that any of the beard growth oils actually work. The consensus is no, it's snake oil. like penis pills. How long did you use it (bought more or just the first kit) and what areas did it actually help you think?
this is probably one of thee most honest videos i seen on beards. The advice he's giving is legit. All of these things do work, and of course giving yourself the time to grow it out. His advice on trimming up to the point of most density, wearing a black shirt, and not pulling and playing with your beard is top notch
Patches fill in with time. You may still have patches at 3 months that will fill in by month 6. Just give it time. They may not all fill in, but you can cover them up with the rest of your beard hair
@Johnfuse well having saw several thivk viking style beards that the guys were wearing tied together all the time lets me believe that like everything else about a beard this has to do with genes too.. Guess if your unlucky in your dealt genes your just unlucky in general.
He meant that it USED to be patchy. His beard in this video is 9 months old, I guarantee you that was patchy in its early days. Im just under 3 months and my beard is as big as his.
Hey Man, I'm not sure you'll see this, but your suggestions were spot on for me. I'm 63, and over the years I've had lots of beards. In order to look younger, I've resisted growing one as now, it's mostly white and gray with a few darker hairs. You made some great suggestions...ie. don't trim it, let the neck grow out, etc. I'm going to give it a go based on your comments. To hell w/anyone who thinks I look older!
@@yu_cp8978 yup me too. I even thought about using minoxodil but I just couldnt everyone that was trying to "sell" the product to people online in videos or blogs just sounded like exactly that, someone who just wants to sell stupid shit to desperate people. Finally a beard that isn’t “perfect” that I can relate to! I’m on my second month of growth. Sucks seeing people with beards not even remotely similar to mine giving advice lol. Your beard is awesome by the way! Thanks for the advice, I’m determined to keep growing!
I'm very glad you made this video. The pattern of my hair growth is just like yours. I decided to just grow it out. it's been four months now and it looks awesome!
@Amar Karia Oh man! As far as I'm concerned, if I should marry, my would-be wife will either accept my beard (it'll be even better if she likes bearded men anyway) or I'll keep searching until I find the one who will! I admit, when you're single, it's an excellent bullshit filter.
I get the same but blow her off. No one is going to tell me how to comb my hair, how to dress, or if I can have a beard. If you don't like it, don't look at it. I don't care what anyone else thinks about it.
People are right when they say one of the best videos out there. I would really like to have seen what it looked like underneath with your head back to give me a visual. But great advice and informative. 👍👍
I have a very similar beard to yours. Very rarely do I find videos that are similar. I'm probably 1 month since I last trimmed(was like a short buzz). I have high Hope's now for my beard.
Oh no, I’m on week 2 and was holding off to get a barber trim. I already have some reservations about it. My biggest concern is lining it up the first time
I know I've been doing the same thing and I've been cutting the neck so now I'm kind of screwed because I need to grow the neck out and trim the top until it evens out. Damn
@Johnfuse he knows how it is to grow a beard the investment it takes etc. When a woman tells you how she can be obsessed with her nails for example can you really feel it? I definitely agree with this. However a big reason as to why some peoples beards look worse when they trim with clippers is because they always go against the grain all across the beard instead of the areas lime your sideburns which should be shorter to accent the shape of your face. Whenever you use clippers across the main body of your beard go with the grain.
What this guy has is my beard goal. We have the same color (light/honey brown mixed with blond), the same strong/weak points (chin/cheeks) and the same patches (low cheeks and bald spots to the sides of the soul patch), so I think this is about what I can expect my beard to look when I've grown it out, and I like it.
You said you haven't seen anyone with a beard like yours, actually, mine is just like yours. It grows thinner on the sides (the cheek). Thanks for the tip about the hair on the neck. I had been cutting mine and now I"m going to really let them grow out.
tho I certainly appreciated the honest candor in your advice, plz think about talking points prior to recording so that we may have the bullet point facts one right after the other. Beard looks great and I certainly appreciate any and all advice! Thank you kindly! Be well and stay healthy.
Yeah, the best tip is really not cutting/trimming your neck beard. Especially if you have weak cheek coverage. This means, that your beard starts lower than other beards, but it helps in achieving a fuller look.
Fan of your beard. It looks great. I’m growing mine. 2 months now, haven’t trimmed. Thick hairs, I’m trying to tame it using some balm. I think your moustache is the soul of your beard.
Thank you so much for the tips. Inspired me to grow a beard. You look so different from clean shaven, so much better. It makes me wonder what I will look like after 9 months like you.
I take adjustable trimmers and start on a setting where I get nothing. Then step it down one setting at a time until I hear it doing something. This way it grows evenly. I do this every 2 weeks or so. Other than that some beard balm and time is about all you can do.
Nice video man your beard is similar to my patches. Cool thing is that no one seems to notice the patchiness but me, people will see the full picture guys instead.
I just always wanted to say smth. I have a beard almost exactly like yours and tbh. I don’t think we have patchy beards, since there are no gaps or bald spots, just thinness I just think tbh it’s the color since we both have blondsh hair. It gives the illusion of thinness when in reality the hair is there it’s just fair and fine looking and blends in and almost disappears at times with the brown This always puzzled me until I dyed mine black and realized just how thick it was when the blond was dark Anyways thanks for the inspiration. You’re litterally the main reason I let my beard grow, Keep on rocking blond bro
I cut hair a professional barber will take all these into account but you're on point about them tending to be cutting too much wanting to earn their pay or thinking that's how they have to....I'd say tho find a GOOD barber makes a big difference coulda saved u all the time u spent figuring this out and awkward stages of the beard growth shape ups should be done
Finally I found it, mine is exactly same beard of yours and it’s looks cool and I just started growing and I already completed 1month , thank god my first beard is growing fast ... wish me luck 🙈
Hey buddy, I've started to grow my beard. The front is the thickest for me to. All the way underneath my chin and my neck. But my sides only grow on face and not my neck. I'm wondering how the end result will look good. Does your sides only grow on your face also? Want to get an idea.
My beard is alot like yours on the side except my hair is light Blond witch sucks .The sides are see thru , but I think like you said I just need to let it grow🚜 and hope it comes out as good as yours .Thanks for Video 🎥 and inspiration ❕
Ur beard isn't that patchy u should look at mine in some places it's kinda bald. I tried not to trim and let it grow but it's get too messy. So should I keep it growing not touching it and just use scissors to cut some extra beard. Will it really help? And for how many months?
I'd trim it low all over consistently to see if those bald areas are just taking longer to fill in. Say an equal trim a month. That will give the shallow spots time to catch up. If slow growth is the problem.
Thanks for the suggestion about not cutting neck hair. I've heard so many people say I should shave at the jawline, but I'm going to let it go for a while and see how it goes. I'm trying to grow a full beard for the first time at age 40... I used to just sport a goatee, but a change was needed. I tried going clean shaven, but I didn't like the way it looked. yeah been growing my red beard for 4 months now , but i made a big mistake by getting the clippers onto the sides of my face and under my jaw and neck line, 2 months in the process whilst growing it .The problem now is my chin hairs are about 2 or 3 inches longer than my cheek hairs and sticking out awkwardly .I am going to bear through the award stage and not cut it , fingers crossed it will look all right soon .By the way all my beard and mo is red and my chin area has turn white ....lol

Thanks for the tips and all informations you keept me motivated to wait a bit more so my hairs will cover thinners areas. Btw you look good with a beard
I'm 2 months in right now. It's going somewhat well but it is kinda patchy. The only two things I did is I did trim the hair covering my upper lip a bit since they were driving me crazy when eating/drinking. And I'm happy with that one. It looks good. My concern is the second thing. I'm not sure if I should also trim under the jawline or just leave it be. I really hate having a "neckbeard" and It's annoying me tremendously. My facial hair grows quite low, way down over Adam's Apple. The way I trim the jawline right now is around 1 finger above the Adam's Apple. It looks decent but I'm wondering if I should just leave it considering I do have quite a lot of see-throughs. So or so, thanks for the tips man. Cheers from Poland.
just went to a barber today, he fked up my beard so bad that i have to trim it down and start all over, even though it's been only 2 months of letting it grow, it hurts deep in my heart and i feel hate for that barber..... :( :( :( :(
I have really sparse beard on my right cheeks and my under lips area. I've not shaved/trimmed for like 2 months now. It's still sparse. Any tips?? I just want to look good in the beard I've.
My neck hairs are pretty long, but they are also very curly and fussy, even if I boar brush them with the grain and use oil/balm. I'm about 6 weeks in with my beard grow. Do you think this will eventually straighten itself out when the hairs get longer or should I trim/cut them shorter to be less fuzzy? Thanks in advance!
honestly I shouldve watched your video earlier.. Ive shaven off my beard 2 days ago.. I still left some on the chin and my mustache to get some kind of scruffy goatee look but I think I miss my full beard even tho it wasnt impressive and spotty.. Damn.
i have the same issue like you, what is that other color hair that is on your chin? The beard under your lips. like at 1:00. My beard is black and i have few hair spots where it looks like brown combined with red

Great work with the beard! Congratulation!
Yoo man Good Advice now In in my second Month Grew my Beard hopefully it will success
My beard grows very similar to yours great video bud
My grandmothers beard was very patching.
just went to a barber today, he fked up my beard so bad that i have to trim it down and start all over, even though it's been only 2 months of letting it grow, it hurts deep in my heart and i feel hate for that barber..... :( :( :( :(
wish i watched your video early that day....
Sorry to heart that brother. It happens to everyone. On the bright side it will grow healthier since it’s trimmed
I hope so, man. Definately gonna follow your tips now! Greetings from germany!
Don't say this brother , he didn't mean too , we all make mistakes
I have really sparse beard on my right cheeks and my under lips area. I've not shaved/trimmed for like 2 months now. It's still sparse. Any tips?? I just want to look good in the beard I've.
really good advice man, thank you!
Love it he says not to constantly touch your beard while he does like every 3 seconds
Do you cut a ‘V’ in the middle of your stash? Or does it just part naturally?
My neck hairs are pretty long, but they are also very curly and fussy, even if I boar brush them with the grain and use oil/balm. I'm about 6 weeks in with my beard grow. Do you think this will eventually straighten itself out when the hairs get longer or should I trim/cut them shorter to be less fuzzy? Thanks in advance!
Damn what a nice beard very complementing your looks
honestly I shouldve watched your video earlier.. Ive shaven off my beard 2 days ago.. I still left some on the chin and my mustache to get some kind of scruffy goatee look but I think I miss my full beard even tho it wasnt impressive and spotty.. Damn.
Hey man! Always enjoyed your vids. Look great!👍🏻. I wish I could grow a beard like like that😫😫😫
Stay safe & take care😃
Best,
Hisham
i have the same issue like you, what is that other color hair that is on your chin? The beard under your lips. like at 1:00. My beard is black and i have few hair spots where it looks like brown combined with red
Bro my beard is exactly like yours. Im about 90 days in. Its starting to move away from my face. How long it take you to get to that length. 6 months
