@ngo_studio going good, I drilled the hole then went to the doctor after a decent amount of red fluid came out and overall I saved about 13 and a half ounces
I removed a lot of the spokes on my wheels too!! I really didn't need anymore than like 3 spokes per wheel now it rides much better and is much lighter!! It also made my wallet lighter too because of all the hospital bills. Thanks for the pro tips😊
The lofi really establishes that trust :')! The thumbs up, with the smile sell this so beautifully. Almost reminds me of that vid where the kid gets convinced to microwave his family laptop.
You’d be flying to heaven I’d imagine. After it snapped in half, fell apart, the hard wear and gears join you for surprise skydiving and you end in style…
i admire your dedication! unscrewing all the pins from the pedals and then having to put them back in. all that just for the joke. king shit right here
This was actually a thing early 90’s - people would drill holes in seatposts and handlebars…shaving grams (and strength!) all over. All people needed to do was have a clear out in the lavvies before riding and they’d have shifted more weight!
thanks it really helped was 13 kg before now is 4 kg removed the saddle like who needs it and i replaced the saddle post with 2 toothpicks it tickles a little but it isn’t all for nothing and i made a few hole in the wheels but few small sacrifices for the big coal
DONT ACTUALLY DO ANY OF THIS
Love the clarification 😅

@@Affirmbuttress good point but to be fair I was lightheaded before

Why don't just drill holes to them.
And the the frame, i take that off
Just take the front off and do wheelies.
intelligent move. saves a lot of rotating mass
Why dont u remove the frame its better i use that
The best is to remove the whole frame, so light and also burns more calories and so much core activation.

Instantly improves your relationships as well.
And even better, it destroys your joints by the time you're 50
Run on foot
Personally I like to remove the entire handle bar and chain as they too weigh a lot
Don’t forget about the spokes you only need about half of what they give you stock

One of my favourite weight saving tips is getting rid of spokes. They weigh so much, you basically only need 4 spokes per wheel
Get rid of the handlebars you don’t need them.

4 spokes? Overbuilt!
3 spokes are enough
I actually like to just remove the frame because that really helps and you'll be so much faster without all that extra weight

don't forget to get rid of the frame, tires and handlebars, they really just add weight.
This is next level trolling of cycling’s obsession with component weight. Brilliant. 😂
I take off the seat and the wheels. That helps a lot with the weight
Damn, I freaked out when you started to drill the frame, lol
I had an accident where the handle bar hurt me really bad but luckly the grip saved me
Thanks I’m a new biker this will help ❤❤❤
Fun fact a lot of pro athletes use to take off 3 of the 6 bolts on there rotor to lighten there bike. It may seem stupid but they did it
The saddle and the frame itself weights a tonne! Removed them.
I take the tires of only rims it's a bit bumpy but it does the job
You can use bamboo frame, it's much lighter, we have it here in the Philippines 🤗
If you have a coil shock, just remove the coil, saves a lot of weight off the shock!
You forgot to remove spokes, you only need 3 of them in each wheel and that saves a ton of weight.
Two screws one the diss brake can cause a screw to broke in half and for one to break the hubs it happen two me once but luckily it was an easy fix
i like how he didn’t wanna ruin his bike and drill into it just for the video
