This Achievement in Bioshock is Not WRENCH FRIENDLY

- Is it possible to get Bioshock's hardest achievement with only the wrench? I'll be going for Bioshock's Brass Balls achievement with only the wrench. I'll need to beat the game on the hardest difficulty without using vita chambers for the achievement, and I can only use the wrench. I will also get ALL bioshock achievements while I'm at it!

I didn't realize until recently that you get a wrench instead of, say, a crowbar or something, because it's a pipe wrench. The most useful tool in a sinking city.

One of the most entertaining challenge runs I've seen. I usually watch Borderlands 2 runs but have got back into the Bioshock series this week and loving the nostalgia.

Nice vid Morgan, can't believe you actually managed to pull this one! When i played BioShock on my Ps3 i remember STRUGGLING with Hard difficulty.
I'm so glad the story was amazing. It was the perfect motivation to get through the head slamming that came with fighting a big daddy lol

You should've done "I Chose The Impossible"... As this is one of the easier achievements compared to the one I just stated. This is not even on the highest difficulty whereas the other IS actually a harder difficulty..
I'm not sure if you noticed, but this was the Xbox 360 version, so there isn't survivor difficulty. I had like 2 achievements unlocked from 2009, so I wanted to complete this version of the game haha. So to answer your question, I chose this difficulty because it IS the hardest difficulty in the game
I own all three in a bundle and the first two separately, Love this series.

Amazing work Morgan! Hope to see more videos like this one for bioshock 2 and infinite. Especially the latter, I highly recommend that you play it, if you haven't already, as it adds so so SO much to the overall plot and lore of bioshock. The writing in bioshock 1 and infinite are just phenomenal.
The only Bioshock I've played prior to this was Bioshock 2, and I remember enjoying the game a ton. But I NEED to get around to infinite

These types of challenges are really fun in this game, and I imagine pistol only offered a unique challenge since ammo is a bit more limited than infinity wrench swings

I literally just did this entire game on Survivor only using the wrench without dying and beat the game within an hour and a half. It’s easier than it sounds
Damn dude that's crazy! Nice work. This was my first ever playthrough of the game, so I definitely wasn't going to do it without dying. But it sounds like you have a good amount of experience with the game, so it's hard to compare our runs. If I played through the game a few times first, I probably would agree that it wasn't hard haha

To be fair, the wrench gets op pretty quick into the run, there was a point in my Survivor (no vita camara) play thorough where i did better with the wrench than with any other upgraded weapons i had
I played the game again after this with all guns/abilities (on survivor since it was the remaster), and I never had an issue. I think the guns/plasmids REALLY help with Big Daddys. Besides fighting them, the wrench was a great weapon
@@morgansbasementThe best guns against big daddy's for me was the shotgun upgraded to being an auto-shotgun, with the electric slugs, stunlocking them

I unlocked big brass balls and I choose the impossible wrench only on my first playthrough ever and in the remakes. I also did the same drill only and hardest difficulty no vita in bioshock 2 also.

The Wrench is easily the best weapon in the game. I've beaten this game like 22 times and most of them were wrench lol
The wrench definitely scales the best in the game, but that first half of the game was definitely harder with just the wrench haha. It was my first time playing the game, so it might be easier the second go around

I played and finished Bioshock 2 back when it came out, so if I would have to get creative if I was going to do that game, so I'm not sure yet. I would absolutely do Infinite though!

Yeah but if you're manually saving it's not that hard
Nothing is really that hard in general haha, but adding an extra thing to manage ups the difficulty. It's also just part of the achievement, so I have to bring it up
