We see ICEBERGS and GLACIERS in PRINCE CHRISTIAN SOUND, GREENLAND on Island Princess - DAY 10 VLOG

Day 10 was our second sea day as we made our way to Greenland on our Island Princess Iceland and Greenland cruise. We were told by the captain that we would be sailing through the Prince Christian Sound (Prins Christians Sund) during an announcement yesterday. We felt so lucky to experience this passage and spotted many icebergs and glaciers. It took around 6 hours to sail through the sound and we passed the small town of Aappilattoq as we left. The whole journey was expertly guided by the onboard Destination Expert Deborah Fraioli .
As you can imagine we were up early, as was most of the ship, to experience the breath-taking scenery. During the evening onboard Island Princess, it was our second formal night of the cruise, and we experience a great meal in the main dining room. In the theatre it was the final production show of this cruise, On the Bayou. We experience a pianist in Crooners and enjoy some late-night laughs in Explorers lounge.

We are Tom and Dom and we experienced our first cruise on the MSC Virtuosa during her UK staycation cruises in 2021. We are relatively new to cruising, however we can now say we are officially hooked.
Our mission is provide a fair and balanced review of our travels. We look at the types of food that is available onboard, from main dining rooms, room service, buffets and pool side snacks. We include menus for each of cruises so that we can share the selection of drinks and meals that are available. Entertainment onboard a cruise ship is important to us and we enjoy theatre production shows, live music, quizzes and game shows. We love to explore different ports and destinations and enjoy sharing tips and tricks so that you can make the most of each port. We often explore ports independently but also book excursions that are interesting to us.
