Unbelievable that stores actually advertise that they are selling fake inventory. The penalty in fines and possible jail time clearly isn't worth the risk. My neighbor was caught selling fake northface inventory several years ago. He had all of his inventory taken, vehicle/trailer impounded, $10k in fines and spent some time in jail.
Yea.. selling fakes is illegal - and they also charge $40 for it according to that infotag.. crazy overpriced. I get that they got ripped off and bought repros by accident and now try to get some money back.. they are still supposed to destroy them.
I live in Florida and the local game store I go to is Stomping Grounds Game Center in Gainesville. I have traded stuff from my collection and they give you good prices on your trades. The staff is nice and friendly. They also have a good selection of games, card games, plushe's, and other neat stuff. I would recommend it to anyone around the area
Hey man, thanks for all the informative videos on reselling, got into the business of video games last week and everything is hella cheap (even for pal) in the Netherlands, made about 180 in profits in week 1 and most of it is already in my bank account :). For anyone reading, I would recommend also scanning some pc titles every so often, didn't sell it yet but had a really lucky find for Silent Hill 2 Directors cut edition today, paid about 2 euros at the charity shop and its selling for 100 to 180 on ebay depending on condition :). Anyway thanks a lot from the Netherlands!
There’s only about 3 different game stores in my entire city area, because one chain (vintage stock) basically took over the market. And of course they charge ridiculous prices. Fascinating to see the markets still competitive in other place

That one in Port Orange is really good. I live in Volusia, that’s a really good one along with Video Game Trader in Deltona FL. Cybertron Video games in Sanford or Winter Park are good too.
I’ve been in the first store. I live maybe 35 minutes from Port Orange. It’s OK. We went there a week after they first opened and nothing was priced. And a lot of stuff was not for sale. But the girl that was working for Jose was actually very very nice. The few things that were marked were actually not that bad. I walked away with two switch games and my fiancé got a small stack of game gear games, we went back there a month ago for the first time since that visit on a random Saturday morning. Google showed they were open but everything was locked up. We assumed they closed up shop for good. Will have to give it another chance when we go back down to that area in two weeks. While down there, we always visit the video game dungeon in the Volusia/Daytona flea market. He has excellent prices and a ridiculous selection.
I was at Ready Set Game about a year and a half ago while visiting my grandpa in Florida! Great experience and was really neat to see you in a familar store of mine!
Not a fan of the first shop keeping every single thing behind glass it seems. I go to a game shop to browse, to physically inspect the items and be able to hold them so it's got to be a bit annoying to constantly ask an employee to look at something. Also, having his personal collection has to make his insurance be even more expensive plus, I wouldn't want my personal collection to be on display, no need for that and, it takes up space that could be used for inventory.
items behind the glass by itself are not a problem. First I check the titles and if I am interested, I will ask them to show it and then I inspect in full detail. Of course cheap games have way less reasoning to be locked like that. So there is that.
I went to video game galaxy after work about a year ago. The guy was really cool and the collection of games was really good. i was looking at n64 games and asked him about the price of a few. he looked up the prices to match it basically. tried to offer a little lower but didnt budge. i understand though, we all gotta make money. plus, its convenient to buy in person rather than online and you can actually see what youre getting. overall, i thought the store was really good.
In my hometown, there’s a video game store called “Gamers in Control” located in Salinas, California inside the Northridge Mall where they sell new and used games from every console!
There's a very infamous store in my state, Michigan, that is routinely lauded as one of the worst game stores ever. To even get inside the store and shop, they take a photo copy of your license/ID. The store is also cash-only, they sell repros as real games, and also they don't actually follow their price tags. They literally have a sign on the counter saying "We reserve the right to modify/change/adjust any/all pricing labels and stickers". They also ink-stamp consoles, and discs for "their protection plan". It's insane.
Daytona has more than a few good game stores. The Video Game Dungeon at the flea market out there has nearly the same stock as VGG and the prices are great; owner is hands on and he and the staff are awesome. Been buying from Greg there for years.
the first store i’ve personally been too and the owner was not as friendly as you describe he was rube when i asked about items and over just seemed like he wanted me out of the store while his “friend” i assume is eating chips with no shoes on blocking half the store
Caleb! LIFE CHANGEING ADVICE- I hope you see this - do NOT do rogaine if you are not prepared to do this for the rest of your life. Also, it doesn’t target the front part, it only is the crown of the head. Start taking finasteride NOW. Also you can get topicals, but it varies from person to person. If you are really concerned about it and kinda pricey, you can do platelets. Do all of this instead of rogaine. My wife is a doctor. Btw. Just stumbled onto your context and binge watching for the past few weeks. Great stuff!
Totally random and prob not worth it. I live in Charlotte uptown and have my old video games that I definitely sell you. I live near many game stores actually 10 mins away from the Goodwill The Grid. I have a few really nice airbnbs you could stay at for free. I used to flip video games in 2008/2010 when I was in college.
In the Oviedo Mall, there is a store called Hudson's and specializes in retro and semi-modern video games, I love it there and usually trade-in my games there, there is also a game store called Gamers Inc and it is my favorite overall, the prices are exceptional and the selection they have is amazing.
Ready. Set. Game! Is an amazing store. I went a couple of years ago when I was in the area. Left with some great stuff. There was a Nintendo Power Banjo Kazooie poster on the wall. I asked how much, and they just gave it to me. Everytime I go to Florida and have a chance to visit this store. I take the 3 hour road trip for it, always worth it!
Ready. Set Game is my local gaming shop. I love going in there and picking up singles for Pokémon. Alittle high on their sealed stuff but I get it it because they don’t have a distribution contract with pokemon. I purchased a lot from them Over the last couple years. My fiancé and I even bought her mom a wii from there for her bday and it works very well. Plus, when I showed them my massive sealed collection of Pokémon the employees got a real kick out of it. Definitely, recommend them when you want some awesome video game products

There is this store in Indiana Pennsylvania called Game and go, everything is filthy but they charge around $7 per game and $80 per console. The prices are very bad, I asked about a dsi that was in bad shape and it had been scribbled on in markers and crayons and he still said $80 even though it was practically falling apart. Ginormous selection of games though just you have to haggle about prices.
If you find yourself back in the central Florida area, may I recommend the Lakeland Antique mall? It is just a lot of fun and you never know what you will find!
Presentation goes to a solid zero of a ton of stuff isnt for sale. It's one thing to have a few displays, but othern that everything but the shelves should be for sale
The reviews that didn't get high remarks at ready set game were probably people going in during the pokemon tournaments held there. It can get chaotic but that's my Pokemon place to go in Brevard county. It's next to Walmart in Indian Harbour Beach.
5:19 - This is a slippery slope. One one hand, I am 100% for Repros of old games that are off the market and can't be rebought officially anywhere else. (Seriously. I do not care about people selling Repros if the owner company doesn't sell the games anymore, I.E. a lot of gameboy games.) But in this instance relative to some of the other Repros that game isn't *that* old, and it's a pretty high price for a repro.
Repros also create a problem when they're resold. This store may clearly post signs that these games are fake, but once they leave the store and are eventually resold, those signs don't exist. Collectors and resellers may be able to spot fakes just by looking at them, but the average person will get scammed.
If you are still in FL, go to Gamers Hut. They have 2 locations. One is in Stuart and another in Vero mall. About 1.5 hours from the game store in this video.
Not sure how I feel about having a personal collection at the store, not because we can't buy it (everything is for sale if the price is right), but because if someone breaks in and robs you, they also get your stash. Not sure how that would play out with insurance since it technically wasn't merchandise... not the mention any sentimental value.
1:17 I'm not a GameCube fan but I've always wanted that mobile suit Gundam Char's zaku II colored GameCube. I heard it ran 3 times faster then the normal GameCube (if you get the joke your a true Gundam fan)
I think your hair is doing great man. The receeding is there, but it doesn't mean it doesn't fit you well, looks bad, etc. Own your look, ya still got hair and ya look good!
Yea I don't know why anyone would want their personal stuff in the store like that. It's giving people false hope if they see something on that side that they want but is told that it's not for sell, and that they don't have it at all for sale. Like that's just petty.
1st store shouldn't even bother pricing the stuff cause if he did that people would could complain when the prices drop online. He should just look it up and charge market value.
I think you’re the only person here with a genius level IQ in this whole comment thread. Cuz everyone is complaining about prices yet they continue to buy their games on eBay and drive the prices even higher.
Owning REPROs that are like 100% moded/fake/ and unique moded. I say its worth it. Uniquely named/made. But not exact COPIES. With Official Names. I get when repros happen for some really expansive games you cant get anywhere and dont want to spent $300+ for copies. As long they upfront they are REPROS, It helps. Example Little Samson and Earthbound. I say go for Repros, maybe down the road if you save... up for 1-2 years u can get original copy.
Not having price stickers is illegal where I'm from. Every product on display has to have a price sticker attached, otherwise the store can be fined heavily.
Keeping his personal collection out in the open like that must be a massive insurance risk. Not very wise.

Unbelievable that stores actually advertise that they are selling fake inventory. The penalty in fines and possible jail time clearly isn't worth the risk. My neighbor was caught selling fake northface inventory several years ago. He had all of his inventory taken, vehicle/trailer impounded, $10k in fines and spent some time in jail.
but they tell the consumer it’s fake
@@aces5779 That's not the point
Yea.. selling fakes is illegal - and they also charge $40 for it according to that infotag.. crazy overpriced.
I get that they got ripped off and bought repros by accident and now try to get some money back.. they are still supposed to destroy them.
I feel these are 2 very different things. One isn't sold anymore and the other is
Haha! I was totally gonna do this video idea in the future. Glad you beat me to it. (i'mma still do it... eventually)
And I'll be looking forward to it John. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas.
Please no self-promotion is someone else's comment section; it's just in bad taste.
“Gotta respect the big ol’ Groudon balls” fucking killed me lmao
That first place is more accurately a museum. The owner should really be more up-front about everything.
There’s only about 3 different game stores in my entire city area, because one chain (vintage stock) basically took over the market. And of course they charge ridiculous prices. Fascinating to see the markets still competitive in other place
Ah my condolences, I don’t like them
I ain’t even mad about him displaying sure it risky if someone steals but I would enjoy seeing his collection and see the things he cherishes that’s what makes collecting worth it and he wants to share it with everyone
Its store decoration - fully insured by the stores insurance
@@ForumcoldiArchon that’s dope I didn’t know you could do that. Prolly easier to insure it at the store than at home
Same. Not that i could afford those bad ass consoles anyway
That one in Port Orange is really good. I live in Volusia, that’s a really good one along with Video Game Trader in Deltona FL. Cybertron Video games in Sanford or Winter Park are good too.
Merry Christmas Caleb!
Where can you buy the Radical Red? Is there somewhere online I can get this and emerald Kaizo?
lol this is what I was wondering as well if you just want them online then it’s just a matter of setting up an emulator on a computer.
@@Idk-tl6jq exactly, I would love this because I could pop It into my DS and take it anywhere
The store has been going under renovations. It's on its last stage
The Rogaine is 100% working. I've noticed it looking fuller in the more recent vids man.
It's insane.
this was a fantastic video. Merry Christmas!
Daytona has more than a few good game stores. The Video Game Dungeon at the flea market out there has nearly the same stock as VGG and the prices are great; owner is hands on and he and the staff are awesome. Been buying from Greg there for years.
awesome video as always!!! great job!
When you brought up the hair line, I was expecting to see a sponsored segment for Keeps. LOL
You should've visited Game Attic in Lakeland. That store was my JAM as a teen.
the first store i’ve personally been too and the owner was not as friendly as you describe he was rube when i asked about items and over just seemed like he wanted me out of the store while his “friend” i assume is eating chips with no shoes on blocking half the store
how did you get scarlet and violet a month before they came out? since you said they came out 2 months ago
the game is usually leaked online. I played zelda TOTK about a week and a half early along with Violet. Just have to know how to google broski
Hey Phoenix I love your videos I haven’t watched your content in a while but I came back to it and I love it
Not only does having the games facing out make it easier to browse, it also makes things look fuller.
In the Oviedo Mall, there is a store called Hudson's and specializes in retro and semi-modern video games, I love it there and usually trade-in my games there, there is also a game store called Gamers Inc and it is my favorite overall, the prices are exceptional and the selection they have is amazing.
I fell in love with your channel. The content is great and I love your personality too.
Ready. Set.
Amazing video as always merry Christmas
Goldeneye Wii as shovelware??? :O That game kicked ass back in the day!
Dude *chefs kiss* it was so good I still play it sometimes
Happy new year Caleb
Ready. Set Game is my local gaming shop. I love going in there and picking up singles for
Pokémon. Alittle high on their sealed stuff but I get it it because they don’t have a distribution contract with pokemon. I purchased a lot from them
Over the last couple years. My fiancé and I even bought her mom a wii from there for her bday and it works very well. Plus, when I showed them my massive sealed collection of Pokémon the employees got a real kick out of it. Definitely, recommend them when you want some awesome video game products
Thats odd the store that is on the thumbnail on the right is a picture of a Game store in Wilkes Barre PA, its a nice store in Down town Wilkes Barre, and has some rare boxed copies of stuff.
I go to Hudson's all the time. They have the most fair prices and are really nice to me when I go. I'm constantly getting stuff for at or below ebay prices for really good condition cib stuff.
Riff Cutting off the airshot with Pokemon Red Radical Red was gold xD
hey phoenix if you go to 6:50 theres a tiny clip of a fat boy in red shorts, that my brother and his name is phoenix too
That $18 Caterpie. F
i live by this place gotta say he easily has some of the best stuff in the area at good prices good choices :)
Oh my god I was not expecting to see ready set game, Love that place!
Merry Christmas Phoenix!
Can already tell the 5 star store before waiting to see was ready set game. Great stores you went to bro.
awesome video as always!!! great job!
I live near the last store! I was really surprised to see how clean and organized it was with the amount of different and unique things you could find there!
Merry Christmas phoenix resale fam!
Great video as always keep up the great work. If you are ever in Lakeland, Florida there is a great retro Game store there called Game Attic it’s in Lakeland square mall
Any game store that has a funko pop wall automatically deserves less than 3 stars
Why
As someone who from Daytona/Ormond Beach Area A good shop from my youth is a shop called Blue Dragon Its pretty close to holly hillish I went a lot when I Was younger
Great vid man first time watcher
There is this store in Indiana Pennsylvania called Game and go, everything is filthy but they charge around $7 per game and $80 per console. The prices are very bad, I asked about a dsi that was in bad shape and it had been scribbled on in markers and crayons and he still said $80 even though it was practically falling apart. Ginormous selection of games though just you have to haggle about prices.
Thank You For This Cause Now I Know Some Game Stores I Could Go To
If you find yourself back in the central Florida area, may I recommend the Lakeland Antique mall? It is just a lot of fun and you never know what you will find!
Presentation goes to a solid zero of a ton of stuff isnt for sale. It's one thing to have a few displays, but othern that everything but the shelves should be for sale
The reviews that didn't get high remarks at ready set game were probably people going in during the pokemon tournaments held there. It can get chaotic but that's my Pokemon place to go in Brevard county. It's next to Walmart in Indian Harbour Beach.
Take a shot every time his mind is blown in any video lol
The hair is looking good bro!! Keep it up man 💈🔥💯
5:19 - This is a slippery slope.
Dude you’re actually hilarious 😂😂 Merry Christmas 🙏
Not sure how I feel about having a personal collection at the store, not because we can't buy it (everything is for sale if the price is right), but because if someone breaks in and robs you, they also get your stash. Not sure how that would play out with insurance since it technically wasn't merchandise... not the mention any sentimental value.
Loved this video.. Your hair looks great 💙
1:17 I'm not a GameCube fan but I've always wanted that mobile suit Gundam Char's zaku II colored GameCube. I heard it ran 3 times faster then the normal GameCube (if you get the joke your a true Gundam fan)
Lmao riffs edits are hilarious 😂 😂 mommy why’s that man losing hair 💀
Crazy to see ready set game on here. Local store by me and always have great deals on stuff
Can you post the link where you got the radical Red? Would love to play that in the SP
Same
I’ve been to ready set game and I will say it was incredible
Haha yeah I started Rogain a couple months ago. Got some stuff from Keeps too.
Hairline looks good man don’t stress
what do you think about E3 pulling the big 3? Love the the video btw! Subbed!
You should check out the gaming zone. They have one in Tempe Arizona in Gilbert, Arizona.
“Mommy why is that man losing hair?” 😂😂😂😂
I think your hair is doing great man. The receeding is there, but it doesn't mean it doesn't fit you well, looks bad, etc. Own your look, ya still got hair and ya look good!
Yea I don't know why anyone would want their personal stuff in the store like that. It's giving people false hope if they see something on that side that they want but is told that it's not for sell, and that they don't have it at all for sale. Like that's just petty.
Merry Christmas!
I got an nes from that store in the right of the thumbnail it came withall of the corners cracked for like $100 7 years ago
How did you start up your amazon seller account? It seems to be impossible to do now after the update 😢
I love seeing a store owner's personal collection. It's usually stuff you never see anywhere else.
2:45 bro escaped backrooms 💀💀💀
Where can you get the cartridge game for Pokemon Radical Red?
