As someone who has zero knowledge in the league of legends lore....this show is so good. the animation is top tier, nothing comes close. The world building and the writing is insanely done well. Not to mention, the amazing voice acting. The actors give their A plus game here and it shows.
Just knowing this lore has over 150 different champions, and this series could go on for years to come.. gives me chills and want to see more and more
as someone who has played league for years and only started because they loved reading the lore material for it.
God this show was fucking amazing. If - no WHEN (they better do it) they make a season two or even just another show about one of the other regions I am going to binge the shit out of it
@@WillGlacier gotta say it's a really cool concept to have a whole show like this to explore the lore of the game. And it's a good way to introduce others into the franchise even if they're not interested in the game itself.
This show is just amazing in every way. The characters are well written, the world building is fascinating, the voice acting is spot on, the art style is stylistic and beautiful and it has probably the best animation of the year. Not just how smooth the characters move, but also the lighting, the camera angles, the particles, the POV shots, the background characters movement. I never thought I will say this but this is my favourite animated show of the year and this is a super strong year for seasonal animes.

Watching this episode after act 3 is weirdly nostalgic… like visiting an early game area after getting 100% completion. Can’t believe we’re only gonna get one episode a week of this.

I've watched a LOT of really amazing TV shows, and in the first 3 episodes Arcane was vying for one of my top 5 slots. Now that I've finished the first season, it's competing for 1st place. This is an S-tier show. The art, the story, the setting, the characters...

Yes Arcane! I put this up with Clone Wars with how much I enjoyed this show, all the episodes just flew by this is gonna be great

Clone Wars is great because all the characters we know and getting to see more missions and stories.. it ain't even close quality wise though, if that's what you mean

Props to Riot for telling a mature story in the universe. The show was MUCH better than I expected, and I already had high expectations for it. If this show doesn't win some sort of award, it'll be an absolute tragedy.
This show is genuinely freaking incredible. I've never been this amazed at a show before besides Star Wars. Definitely one of the best shows I've ever watched. Keep in mind that I know absolutely nothing about LoL, yet this show was freaking amazing.
This show is a Masterpiece in visual and dialog driven storytelling. In the opening bridge scene. Without a word spoken, we can hear Vi looking around and questioning Vander about her parents. And Vander replying with just a nudge of his head and the expression of his eyes. "Over there and it ain't good."
Never played League Of Legends but Arcane is one of the best shows I’ve watched ever 👌🏻

So the entirity of this series is lore to Piltover & Zaun. league of legends doesn't have a story BUT it has lore. Lore behind the characters , lore behind the world of runterra etc. Even though the game has lore it is still very vague in some areas so a show is perfect for lol lore fans
It'll be interesting to see Aarons reaction to characters he knows from already having prior knowledge of League of Legends.

glad y'all found the time for this! it's only been out for a bit, but i've rewatched each arc several times already and now I have yet another reason to.
you guys talking about the opening scene and what it infers about the enforcers, vander and the situation in the city makes me really happy. visual storytelling is this series' MO, and that's all through the direction and cinematography that I think is award worthy.
I saw on twitter an article someone wrote about how the series is shot as if there is a physical camera in every scene. once you guys are farther in, y'all should look for it.

KEEP GOING, I just finished the series and it literally gets better each episode, and plus it makes your mind revert back to previous episodes constantly and appreciate them as it goes on. Amazing art style, incredible choreography in action/fights scenes, and the story is incredible.
PLEASE CONTINUE THIS SHOW ITS GREAT WITH THE VISUALS, WRITING AND AND HOW DEEP THIS GETS

My favorite reactors watching my favorite new show, this is great. I put this show right up there with The Expanse in terms of quality writing, direction, acting, music, etc. The world they created and the attention to detail and the craftsmanship is amazing. This show will stay in your head long after you watch it.
