You can thank me for this version. I recorded it in September of 84 from MTV. I used to trade tapes/DVD from the mid 80s on. I authored as Videoverkill / Phantom Creations.
"Ah, you can't play heavy metal with synthesizers" - Bruce D. LOL!!! That was the most Spinal Tap moment in Iron Maiden history right there. Bruce has a microphone that goes all the way to 11 because it's one more.
They were on fire on that tour - An unstoppable force. I bought this on VHS when It came out and watched it until the tape stretched. Easy to forget just how big a deal this was for those fans who had spent their lives being unable to see the bands they loved actually play a venue in their country.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I had been looking for this version for a long time. I used to have the old VHS, and then noticed the official DVD sounded different! Very happy getting to hear this version again thanks to you. I never knew it was audio from Hammersmith 1984. I wish they released all the Live After Death shows, Powerslave is my favourite album and tour.
Agree a 100% How about a Live After Death Special Edition, with a couple of FULL Hammesmith shows as bonus discs?! Anyone interested? Then it’s only me then…
Tearing Out The Iron Curtain By The Power Maidonians in 1984 !!! What A Pleasure San Dios !!! Salud y Vida Pa'lante !!! Luego estuvieron en mi boda y cantaron a los postres !!! Porrom Pom Pom... Cheers and Life On !!!
@@Samantas5855 I've been wondering since 1984. I don't think it's Maiden even though it sounds like it could be. They only had 5 albums out at the time and I just can't place it.
It is the guitar section from Revelations you're referring to. Sounds like it was recorded when a couple of the band members were practicing, perhaps during a soundcheck.

That is pretty cool, do you have it in better quality?
So this aces high live version was filmed at hammersmith?
@@danlane3528audio could be but all the clips are from the first few gigs of the tour
That is awesome. I like this version.
I have the same one 😁
Dave Murray is an incredible guitarist... and a wizard! He can change the guitar neck 6:03 - 6:07 in the middle of Aces High's solo! 🤣🤣🤣
😆
The sound is amazing and raw! Love This, way much better than the dvd audio

Not behind the iron curtain it wouldn’t have been.
I used to own this on VHS back in the day. Still love it.
Today it has been exactly 40 years since the start of the World Slavery Tour
Wish I had Maiden play at my wedding.
I love the Bruce orange hair era 😜😂
Anyone know what song is being played at 19:05? The first time I heard it I thought it was the clean guitar part from Revelations, but it's not.
I've also been wondering for quite some time

@@MajorImpact It could be Adrian or Dave jamming or some demo from Powerslave
