- EICMA 2022: Stator 4K
This is my video of the Stator stand at the EICMA 2022 motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. They have a strange looking, one handled monster scooter! It was created as a place to trial batteries from the parent company NantG Power, and though it looks very strange indeed, I quite like it! In case you were wondering, you can wheelie it.
More information is on www.stator.com
I will be uploading videos from several other stands over the next few days from the EICMA 2022 motorcycle show.
Thanks for watching!
Been waiting years for these to come out. I’ll take the off road version
They look great! Are they out now?
Just release this already. I've been waiting 6 years.
I’ll see if I can find out more at EICMA next month
Those scooters look like fun.
Pretty amazing technology, and the fit & finish looks great.
They remind me of the Phat Scooters I was looking at a couple years ago.
Yes they do. I suspect it’s a fairly specific market, but they look great fun!
Excelente projeto!
Ficaria muito bonito em filmes de super-herói ou futurista!
Parabéns!
It would. Still no news on production though
There so cool love it..
🤣
When do they expect these to be ready for customer purchases? Looks like they have been around for years, but have yet to produce them for customers if I am not mistaken?
They didn’t say, though I expect they have a better chance of answering correctly than I do.
Awesome you could do with one for flying about over there bud 👌🏻
That would be cool
Not a single question on cost and availability?
I asked and they had neither. Though I generally don’t cover such things as they vary significantly from country to country so there’s not a lot of point putting it in a video. There are country specific websites and dealers that cover that. Prices in particular don’t age well and even if there was a price back then, I expect it would have changed by now.
I was actually looking for the Maeving stand. They cancelled late and Stator took their place. Perhaps you could contact them to ask?
Thanks anyway for your contribution.
I have an improvement to the stator se it might use less material and be lighterweight by cinecting the stem to the deck with a hinge at an angled neck
I know they are working on making them lighter through both design and material changes, perhaps that is one of them?
Is it available in Europe?
I don’t think so. Though from some of the other comments, I’m not sure it’s available anywhere yet.
So where can you buy it?
Nowhere yet. I guess they will update their website when it’s ready. stator.com/
wait fourthe updates
Sounds exciting?!
EUC!!!
Is that good or bad!?
This is now a dead project. Never went into production.
Thanks and that’s a shame. I’m still glad I got to see one and try it.
@@PeakMotorcycles Yeah, I was enthusiastic as well, it just looked well made.
bad design. no suspension.
Do you think it needs it? Many stand up scooters don’t have suspension. Also many vehicle with big tyres. Some bobbers too, at the back. Also Segways?
@@PeakMotorcycles There will still be some discomfort and vibration when passing through uneven roads no matter how big the tires are.
