This hits hard because literally today I decided that I was over my crush because she literally puts next to none effort in me. I could clearly see that she wasn’t really interested but I kept telling myself that we just need to talk more and spend more time together. But slowly I have realized that she seems more interested in like every other person (definitely other guys) more than me. I thought if I tried hard enough she would eventually like me back but I realized too late that she wasn’t feeling the same way and I broke my own heart because I got too invested. I have a feeling my crush is into me, but after a few weeks and days, i just realized it's all in my mind. I cried while remembering all those interactions between me and her, I realized she's just being friendly, that's just how casual people is. It hurts.
I’ve been told the guy I like likes me too, but personally, I can’t tell.
I saw him the other day and ever since I’ve been worried he doesn’t like me the same way.
I don’t think it’s because he acted differently or something, I think I might’ve just realized how much I like him, and that made me more scared that he doesn’t like me.
I know he likes me as a human being, but I don’t know if he likes me, like he would want to date eventually. I know if he does like me like that it’s probably hard for him. His parents are divorced, and he said when he was really young that he never wanted to go into a relationship. So I’m sure at first he’d deny it, hide it, and be a little scared by it.
But that’s okay with me, I also don’t mind if he takes longer than the average. I also know I’d still only become something like a year from now since we’re young, (I’m almost 14).
Anyway I kinda trailed off, what my point was, I had a feeling before he liked me too. And I’m scared this is what will happen. It’s hard when you care so much and really think this person is cool (in my own uncool, weird way of nerd kind of cool), and then find out they don’t like you.
I’ve cried a lot thinking about it and cried over the overwhelming feeling of someone slipping by the barriers I thought I had.
Liking someone is hard. It hurts, the uncertainty hurts, and the ending sometimes hurts.
Sometimes the ending is completely worth it, but sometimes it ends sadly.
Tbh, sometimes I question why God started a friendship but set it up to get ruined since I like him, but he probably doesn’t like me.
It’s all painful, but I don’t care if I knew it’d end well. I don’t mind crying a lot, even everyday if it ends up turning out to be real. I also don’t mind waiting.

About not remembering things, that's hard for me to do. I've got ADHD, and if I don't write stuff down immediately, I'll most likely forget it.
Man , I actually had the courage to talk to my crush today. He was leaving so I tapped his shoulder and the only thing that could come out was: "I like your jacket" 💀 . He said "thank you" and I just said " you're welcome" and I left. It wasn't the best but at least it's a start.

Not having a crush anymore on someone that wasn’t into you is really the most liberating feeling ever. Sometimes the right decision is to just cut your crush out of your life completely. although it’s not nice to your crush, it’s probably the best for your heart especially if that person really never cared about you as much as you did for them.

Hey, I know that when you’re going through this everything other people tell you feels like empty words.
I went through that for my entire teenaged life and ended up really emotionally damaged from it. I got to a really low point and wanted to give up on everything. But after my breakdown I met the love of my life who was also going through something similar.
You can make it. It’s not going to be easy, and it’s not going to be fun. It’s going to hurt, and it’s going to suck. But it’s going to work out.

If the ball is in their court and they don’t swing. Even if he’s a shy guy/girl and you have made it very easy for them by asking them out and explicitly telling them that you like them. If that doesn’t make the reciprocate easily, they’re not into you.

Hey, people of the comments. Just a reminder that this video is also, in some aspects, heavily relied on the personality of a person. For example, I completely fell in love with a super emotionally detached person who's quiet, judgemental, and seem like they don't care about you at all. That's genuinely just the way he is, and his true self, who is caring, gentle and understanding, shows when he knows you more, but he still would not open up to you at all. Some people are simply brought up a certain way, does not necessarily mean they don't like you. Love takes patience, persistence (not in a creepy way) and passion!

Well, he was one of the only people that genuinely cared about me through my suicidal and self harming times which I am still going through. He takes your problems seriously and looks for a logical way out of it. He really cares on the inside and it's clear as crystals in the broad daylight. Although he might seem emotionally detached and a judgemental asshole (which, both of those are true to some extent), everyone can be a sweetheart to the people they care about, and everyone changes for the people they care about. He has changed for the better in many ways, through my patience and understanding.

It hurts really bad when u do everything in your power to talk to her and get try to know her better, as well as sacrifice what u have and your time to make her happy or be with her. Then she stays distant and after a long time u hear she has a crush on someone else. 😭😭😭 It happens all the time for me

happened to me recently. we basically talk on an online chatting platform for 5 months, i got to know her and vice versa. Turns out, few days ago, he met some guy, and she said she liked him. i can't believe i've sacrificed 5 months of my time just to get overtaken by some random guy she met online.

if your crush is an introvert, they may feel shy to be alone with you. For example I had a crush on my childhood bestfriend and whenever he wanted to meet up I would bring my brother too (we three were close so I don't think it bothered him). I wanted to spend time alone with him but I was too shy to show up without anyone by my side. That's just an example btw I'm not saying every introvert has to be this way

She doesn’t respond to my snaps so often anymore so i am not sure what’s going on. She’s the sweetest, kindest and preetiest girl i’ve ever met.
That sounds so cute! Maybe she's having issues or something else is going on in her life. But you can just keep looking out for her and show that you care.
