3 for 3 (All s22's that is) I give you a 10 out of 10. The public (including me) haven't even received their new phones yet but you have showed us what is inside them and how tough they are. Thanks for all your effort.
I just figured out why i really love your teardown videos..... Your videos are informative, and to the point, without the unnecessary commentary and cheap shots at humor. You explain everything very well and in a simplified manor for someone like me who has limited knowledge of smartphone internal components. Yes I Am Subscribing To Your Channel!
Beautiful breakdown! I love how you talked about the different parts of the phone. It's so cool seeing how these things look on the inside. The engineering is just so remarkable. Great video! 👍
I feel like my phone is getting hot, next to my underwear, even when I've even got all the apps (supposedly) closed. The battery drains faster than my note 10+, AND the mandatory 5G (per Verizon model instead of Samsung direct) isn't even faster than 4G, in a very metropolitan area.
Great tear down.. I was cleaning my Display on my Note 10+ out in the sunlight yesterday & I could see the gold looking fingerprint sensor under the display perfectly in the light.. I was like, wow 😳
Thank You for your obvious time and great efforts in getting this teardown video out so quick, I think many of us teetering on a purchase will appreciate this, along with your durability video. Your expertise is effortlessly displayed to us in your simple straight talking commentary . Im relieved to see a much bigger fingerprint sensor as that was the one niggle I had with my excellent note 20 ultra. Its very comforting to also know if damage occurs, it can be repaired.
I appreciate this channel over that other one that fills his pockets with the companies money he's in bed with. Straight forward video without political views or bashing of others ideas about what makes a good phone. It's refreshing to see no bias in your channels teardown
Well, about vapor chamber (VC) Samsung has mentioned in them trailer that: *"It's made of a new, double-bonded stainless steel" and actually it is, It's not mean to be made of a copper, as ususal.*
This video was AMAZING!!!! Helped me to break my phone down to fix a loose camera connection! Had no clue how to get to it, but I knew the issue! I feel like a cell repair pro now! 😅😂. Thanks for the great video!
Seems that way, sure, but reality isn't the same. Heat the phone first to remove back glass using suction cups: I wouldn't even attempt the front entry he suggested
It still messes me up that one of the first steps of removing the sim card tray hasnt been a thing these last 2 series of phones. 😅😅 beautiful break down! Simple, and concise.
Yeah, it's honestly quite nice that they don't solder the sim tray to the mainboard anymore as I saw many techs fuck that simple step up as it's an easy brain fart.
One of the best , to the point videos iv ever seen bravo .... Never once felt the need to scrub ahead .. Too many people make videos blabing on and on and on about everything but what your trying to see lol
Thanks for this video. I've already ordered my S22 Ultra and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival. I'm glad to see how well built it is. I think my money has been well spent.
There is a battery test from mrwhosetheboss now. I will try to do one later if I can but battery tests take such a long time and I have a bunch more videos to do so I will see if I can squeeze on in.
Thank you very much! I was repairing a display and i was wondering why there is no 5G Antennas and if i got scammed as it turns out and you explained at 07:30 my phone came without these antennas but had still 5G ! Keep up the good work!
At 00:42 you have the backplate in your hands. I'm wondering what the white stickers are. NOT the adhesive around the panel, but the one that sits above the spen slot, and below the camera.
Gush, that back microphone which records sound through the tini gaps between the camera rings is just mind blowing, this is the highest level of engineering that you could ever imagine, even despite the fact that the device feels cheap
I didn't see a vibration motor in the main housing, but it looks like the incorporated it into the lower speaker bracket based on the two additional contacts. It makes sense since they needed to make room for that stylus.
I'm curious how much it'll cost to replace the screen if it was cracked? It's hard to find a proper tempered glass screen protector for this phone. Hopefully one comes out soon.
great! thx for detailed teardown. 2-3 days ago, i was like are these cameras inside this phone has all ois except for the wide angle one and the salesperson could not answer that question. I am now using a Note 9 which i believed, at that time, was the first phone ever to have ois on both camera lens.
I have a problem with my phone after a screen replacement. it will not detect that the S Pen is inserted. Inside the S Pen enclosure, is that white component the trigger switch to alert the phone that the pen is in the phone? That's how the note series was but I don't see how the trigger would be connected. You mentioned 2 cables related to the S Pen. Maybe the tech didn't plug one back in assuming the white piece is a trigger switch. Thank you.
Very well done video. Did you say the front facing camera is glued to the frame? What would be the easiest way to take off that camera without the full fram disassembly?
Ya it has a rubberized glue they use for keeping it water resistant. You can still heat it up and pry it off but there is a good chance the existing camera will get damaged so if your replacing it, there are no worries 😀
There is pre cut adhesive made for it like this one: www.ebay.com/itm/312270564385?hash=item48b4c6ac21:g:oPQAAOSwsB9idJXM&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4FRCns9XhkmMSmdnTqXJOnvqq3%2FxTdrZyJ4a%2FcuT%2FB9kzgq2w1F4f3Uuve3j3bxFj5Xx8D8HNsaa6p%2B2sWgSzFluftzlhNZzsNnXD3swU2QyhInBNTJk6NmVY%2FVGvv8r62kxFMqImCShCpFozMKDcndiybzGv2aMaQWXDkmgf1cvpjVjV%2B%2BWgh618ViqrhqkUKhAnq1Sf6%2BGm2NPyGDZ52J9YtpDp8IhIcExeyuh2mglq9%2FvycZx2OWFufSCZilu%2FCyUkIlTxp1yxIzq1OlzeOX3i9CvTR3J563f6wPfoUDD%7Ctkp%3ABFBM0KLRxslg
Hi Sir, absolutely incredible video thanks for making it. ❤ Also I would like to know what should be done if the network has some problems and could you mention where is the network ic located.
Thank you for the video, it's terrific. I was trying to pop the sim card out, and put the remover tool in the hole in the top, instead of the bottom, before I figured it out. Did I ruin anything? :-(
Thank you for doing this because I'm considering getting this as my main phone so I'm doing an in depth research to find out as much as possible about it and this helped a lot! Is that one unlocked or for a specific carrier? I'm not sure if I want the unlocked one or the Verizon one, because the unlocked one comes in a really beautiful red.

Great video, clean and really informative. I have one question if you can help me: I have by accident put sim card needle in microphone opening instead of sim card hole, was not paying attention I guess. I pushed little bit harder and I think I moved something, but mic is working. Can you tell me did I move rubber seal or actual mic, as I can not zoom enough when you removed bottom mic plate. Basically can you tell me in what my sim needle hit in that mic hole :) Thank you!
Your fine. There's nothing you can damage by accidentally inserting the sim removal tool into the wrong hole. Phone manufacturers have pretty much made these phones nowadays idiot proof.
