If you go straight back, opposite to the double doors, and flip a torch that is actually a lever, you will find a room with ladders going down to a maze, where the exit to the maze is the entrance to the portal room. Additionally, there are some really cool rooms throughout the stronghold, all which are worth checking out, even just for the spectacle. They are friking amazing, and whoever designed it deserves extra pay. Also, there is a puzzle in the library. Edit: Nevermind, they introduced the amazing stronghold in a newer version, and cause you never update, you don't get to see it :(
These modded strongholds are massive, but they do operate under some logic. The big central fountain room is usually where you should be branching out from, though it isn't guaranteed you'll get the portal room immediately, there's typically a direction they generate in that allows you to find it after an s-curve hallway, but the s terminates at the portal room itself after two long halls connected on one end. Sometimes these halls generate with a connection on both ends looking like a rectangle with a line off one side of the long plains. To my knowledge, there isn't any literal indication which hall is which. You just kinda know, like with the vanilla structure.
Seems like there are atleast 3 different types of Strongholds, the first is the 'vanilla' one which is the one Jordan found in the video, the second one is the big castle on the surface which also has an end portal, and the third one which is the one I came across and imo is the coolest one, is the stronghold from IDAS mod, there are create mod stuff, lore, puzzles, secrets, mazes, bosses to defeat in order to get to the end portal.
Go back to the CORRUPTED OGRE and FARM HIM FOR ESSENCES and also EYES to help find the portal easy in that massive fortress, he drops them EVERY TIME!!! It will be super easy now you will kill him in 5 seconds and you can respawn him over and over. In less than 30 minutes you can max your hearts and stamina!!! 😆
I'm pleasantly surprised that he read those books in the beginning, it's something different. I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of the continuous grinding to get better reforges and enchants. I preferred the early episodes where that wasn't such a focus, and besides, he already has amazing gear anyway. I can't agree with the people who want him to try for even better gear, it's not necessary.
Weird i'm still playing 1.16 and the stronghold I found is vastly bigger and more extravagant and the portal room is guarded by 2 ferrous wroughtnaughts, this stronghold looks vanilla by comparison

why dont u use dual netherite swords with 3 slots u can just put attack speed or speed on other sword or if u upgrade your NICK CAGE it gets super good
@@TylerDollarhide From my testing, it does get benefits from an offhand item even if its a two handed weapon. A dual wield wont work since you cant actually use the item on your offhand, but a shield does provide the benefits from the gems as well as the enchants on the shield.

Serious question, did they change the End Remastered "Stronghold" for the DawnCraft modpack?? Usually for End Remastered, which is the mod that these custom eyes come from, the stronghold is in the form of an above ground MASSIVE castle the size of a village and the portal room is its own massive room
