Great job ! I got a question.. Im tying to program a producer/consumer logic with 1 compactlogix and 1 controllogix but when i try to create a new module, the compactlogix controllers does not appear in the list ... is that a problem of my software or something of the kind? i would appreciate your support in this matter...

Great question. I have never done it before. But I was told by someone at Rockwell that you can. The only question I still have not gotten an answer to is do they need to be on the same revision. Since I have never tried I cannot say yes with 100% certainty.

Could you please advise how can I produce and consume 24 bit alarm tags.
I mean there are 24 alarms in on controller that are supposed to stop some functions in the second controller.
I have to move them first to DINT with a new tag like ( all_ alarms) which will only occupies 24 bits and then consume that in the second controller?

Same process as this video but change it from a bool to a a dint and dont use the . after the tag name. If that does not work try setting up a array with the information and send the tag over. I have never done that but it would be the second thing I would try

Is it possible to communicate between Rslogix500 and rslogix5000, still using ethernet. Micrologix 1100 to compact logix ?

To be more accurate and reduce confusion the title should say how to set up produced/consumed. The message command (MSG) is different than produced consumed which you show here.
