And so much more that you missed. Next time you react to a video, try paying attention.
You don't need permission to cover a song, as long you don't do substancial changes to the lyrics or the melody (you do need permission for samples, at least if it's more than tiny bits I guess). Of course the writers and composers (or whoever holds the rights) get their royalties but they cannot forbid a cover version.

Your audio double up. Make sure that you keep your voice recording separate during the playback. Or careful with mic settings. The most likely culprit is that your mic picked up on the audio and you doubled up with adding the music audio.
