I have always and forever will love MJ...and this song. It doesn't surprise me MJ approved, because they really did him proud. Definitely on the best covers list, because while they made it theirs they still stayed true to the song! That's the mark of a great cover, and it's rare.
I love seeing all the nu metal era reactions. Reminds me of my late teens early 20's years. Every rock album that came out for about 10 years was amazing. Definitely a very nich time in music. I remember seeing these guys play this song live as an opening band. So original at the time.

AAF was actually a pretty dope band for the era the came out in. You should check out some of their Original, and yes and you can tell you'll want the music videos of them. "Movies" and "Attitude" are 2 great choices.

Honestly, probably the best cover of an MJ song, period. I'm not a big AAF fan, but I bought their "Anthology" album on the strength of this song.
This whole album is very good. Good musicians original look and feel. The bass player went on to work for Fender. Very tight

I like both versions. MJ The pop king and these guys punk and thrash the shit outta this song. I always like to hear a version that gives us a different approach to the original so well done ! It is easy to just copy the original. Rework or reboot the song that is the magic trick ! I guess it is easier to talk than to do it. Anyway thanks !

This was the quickest way for Nu metal bands to sell some single, cover a song that is far from what you'd normally play; this or Limp Bizkit doing "Faith" from George Michael.
Oh, and make sure the Bass player uses a 6 string, even though they only need 3.
