I got an XR 2-3 months ago, but I'm still glad I got it. The Pint X still has aggressive pushback at 17mph and I prefer the xr size/tire. I can get about 20 miles in Mission mode, which is more than enough for me at this point, and you can cruise a little faster without pushback. My legs/feet are fried after riding that long so I don't really feel like I need that extra range. The charge times on the Pint X and GT are much longer than the XR too.

Well I bought my PINT back in July, and put 345 miles on it. Took it to the place I bought it from in Vegas. Made a trade deal 🤝 of $550 I gave them another $500 and now I'm 1 of the first pre-orders in Vegas for the ONEWHEEL GT🔥💯 AYYYYEEEEE🙃 No need for the pint x for me because I was getting the XR. Now... there's no need for the XR because...WE ON GT STATUS now💯! I can't wait 💪🏾
I’m 52 years old, never been on a skateboard, never been on a snowboard and on Black Friday, I ordered a GT! … but wait! There’s more! It’s not really for me … that would be completely ridiculous! No, it’s for my 19 year old! … who by the way, has been on a long board sense age 10. This kid said to me that a Onewheel would be better than a car … so, I said okay … I’ll order one! The shipping date has been bumped back to the end of February from the middle of February … hope it arrives sometime in March.
I got the GT with the hyper bundle and fender. I have the XR and will keep that for when friends come over. Just Pint X won't have the same speed of the XR just for accuracy sake. It will top off 18 mph and pushback before that. Makes for a good cruising speed of 12-14 MPH.
I really want to get the Pint X, I’ve heard some people complain about strong pushback but I really want it for the range. I’ll ride for mile and miles but my pint can’t do that. Plus my brother has the XR and I although I like it, it’s too big for me, so the Pint X is perfect for me.
If you’re a big person or have big feet get the xr. They’re truly different and being aggressive the xr will do so much more. Either Way share the stoke it’s a life changer. Now that it’s winter I’d rather one wheel than snowboard and that isn’t something I thought would happen…ever. The older I get the cold sucks though.

I never took my XR to the point of pushback or at least I don't think I have. I was told it is sometimes hard to notice. I would like the extra range. i weigh 215 so my range is on the low side for the XR
Somebody else mentioned that the extra torque might actually be necessary to give pushback at higher speeds. Personally, I like the subtle pushback on the xr vs the pushback on the pint (which just ruins my vibe - but at faster speeds it might be important).
Been wanting a one wheel for awhile now, but never could decide on which 1 to get, but now that the new pint x is basically a smaller xr I’m thinking about the pint z. Only question is buy now or wait 3-6 months and let the first batch ship out and see if they have any mechanical failures like all new things basically! It is future motion just that good where that’s not common
Honestly, future motions warranty is pretty rocksteady - I had to send my pint in (v1.o) @ 6 months for a controller issue. They replaced everything and paid for shipping - the hardest part was being without a board for 4 weeks.

I bought the GT. I've owned an XR for a week now and I do not know have I have lived my life without it! Love how one can tune the ride parameters and juice it up the carving aspect from loose to tight! I'm looking forward to the heavier GT because it may be even more stable? Thoughts?
the GT is 30% heavier...while the XR already carries like bag of rocks...that is concerning!! less little airs on bumps but possibly more momentum with the added weight power will get you through certain situations??
I'm holding off before buying the GT. I got a weird feeling about it. I just bought my XR this year and enjoy it. It kinda seems like cars. XR smooth steady luxury and GT more of a sports car feel is my guess. I do like the look of the GT tho! I will wait to try one first.

I've been thinking about ordering an XR, Pints are too small and the GT is too heavy. What do you think will happen in terms of support for the XR over the coming months? Looking at how the Pints and GT have similar designs, I'm concerned the XR will either be discontinued or updated soon.
The Mod community will keep the XR alive for a decade. I think it's actually the safer bet before we know how the GT performs in the real world. I'm going to do whatever I can to try to keep the xr as backup (except I kinda need the money from the xr to buy the GT...). The XR is just so good already, and bombproof.

I think that they will keep the XR around for a while because the GT is so heavy that a lot of people will prefer the trick ability of the XR to the raw power of the GT. As for me......I'll just take both!
@@donnyh3497 So far I’ve been incredibly happy with the Pint X! I emailed them beforehand asking about the XR and they said the board will still be supported, but they’re only selling the last bit of stock.

Bought the GT immediately as I was going to buy an XR the day the GT came out. Then I found out yesterday I won’t get the GT until mid January. Wtf?? Only pints are in stock right now. GT is three months out.
Sure, but I feel like it's different. An EUC is the commuter, the onewheel is for surfing the city. I'm just stoked to see any progress from future motion.
@@MikeErickson You can "ski " the city instead of surfing it, no less sensations, just as different as ski and snowboard. If one device is more a commuter than the other one, it's only because there is no competition for onewheel and they can stretch low performance for a long time.
@@tonymandon9615 yeah, the competition thing is interesting to watch - onewheel vs EUC there's no comparison as to where there's been more innovation. I guess I need to try an EUC so that I can have more of an opinion. Right now it's all just assumptions.

Torque alone for both new models are insane. Been watching tons of reviews on xr vs pint and on trails pint x storms up hills
GT torque and power is worth it. Also charge time doesn’t matter if you can get 32+ miles of range lol.

I got my GT for the 3hp torque! I can get my XR up to 22.5mph and I bet the GT is faster

This is a great question, not sure but with the increased battery size I would expect crosses that threshold now.
Definitely not. The Pint is already pushing FAA regulations, the Pint X is way too big a battery.

Here is the real gist of it all…if you weight more than 120 the GT is for you. Leave the pint for the skinny folks.
I’m worried the GT has pushback sooner, my cruising speed is around 17-18mph so XR is perfect for that. Hope GT doesn’t have pushback at 17

If the GT has HORRIBLE pushbacK like the pint does then i am OUT! I hated my pint. Id almost wrecked because of the aggressive pushback many times.
Should be 18.5 mph for push back, that’s a guess based on the pint push back vs nominal max speed

I think some of that torque is gonna go towards stronger Pint-like pushback. I just Hope that it's around the mid 20's mph but I doubt it 🤞🏽
