Hey Theo, I agree w/ you. I'm a registered Radiographer here in the Philippines but I specialized in Sonography and echocardiographyfor almost 4 yrs now. 🥰Best of luck in your Sonography journey.😊🤍
As a nuclear medicine radiographer I totally get where you are coming from, diagnostic radiography is way more hectic than other kinds. All the best, i think you will be great in U/S
My high school teachers was also a radiography, and she mentioned how she hated not having time for her kids and husband and that she wished she had started having kids earlier, but was delayed because of this profession.
New subscriber here😁 I've been watching your videos back to back and I absolutely love your content❤. May you please do a video that goes in depth of sonography, because applications are opening and I'm considering doing either diagnostic ultrasound and radiography.
Last year i applied at UJ for radiography, got conditionally admitted. Did apply for training centers and even went to the interview. I passed the interview and got a clinical placement at Helen Joseph. But Uj still rejected me. I was so hurt. All the hard work was for nothing
@@khaledmoeng8904 hi. Yes you have to. I have a series of videos uploaded here on TH-cam about the whole application process. Please do watch them for clarity
Hey, they do them. I do have a video on my channel about student radiography questions. They ask the same questions for ultrasound, nuclear medicine and therapy
I came here after watching a video of a young woman going into radiology while she's quitting sonography and I watched your video and you're saying you're quitting Radiology to go into sonography LOL I just think all medical field jobs are hard and hectic and crazy it's like every time I think I know what I want to do for school I start watching a couple videos and now I'm back to square one
Hey theo What's your intake about nuclear medicine? I also got advised to do ultrasound while i was shadowing ...keep the content coming about it i wanna switch in the future
I applied for both diagnostic and ultrasound and was conditionally accepted for both. I have done shadowing and sent my documents to the accredited hospitals. I am now waiting for feedback and interviews. Hopefully, everything will go well.

Congratulations on making this bold move sis ❤ I've been wanting to study diagnostic ultrasound for the past 3 years and my big issue has always been funds... Is there any funding I can apply for that'll pay for my tuition fees and accommodation??? The disadvantage I might also have is that I also have a degree...
Hey, im currently doing my 2nd year of diagnostic at dut and theyre giving me such a hard time with switching over even though it doesnt say its not allowed. Any advice?🙈😭
It’s the same in the sense that they’re both imaging modalities for diagnosis but the role of a sonographer is different from the role of a radiographer in the workplace.
Good evening Ma'am. Pls 🙏🙏🙏. I will like to invite you as a guess speaker into an amazing Radiography Education platform so that you can share some information to us Ma'am. Pls 🙏 🙏🙏. Or can you pls drop your WhatsApp contact.
I'm a radiography technologist. One thing that confuses me about this profession is us saying radiography, then we exclude other imaging modalities Is it the radiology department or imaging department Do you mind sharing your WhatsApp number
Hey theo. Fellow Sonographer here. Im glad you are venturing into the field coz we need more Sonographers😊. Its definitely an interesting field

I don’t blame her. Majority of careers in healthcare have demanding working hours and it makes it difficult to spend time at home
Such bravery & motivation. I’m proud of you. I just got inspired to go do what I really want….
Thank you so much 🥹
If it’s something you really want, by all means go for it 🔥🔥

Awwww 💔💔💔💔 I’m so sorry to hear that. Did they at least say what the rejection reason was?
Hi am a bit confused about this whole thing does one need to apply for training centers if you are considering radiography?

Hey theo
What's your intake about nuclear medicine?
I also got advised to do ultrasound while i was shadowing ...keep the content coming about it i wanna switch in the future
Hey there… in my opinion, all these imaging modalities are great as careers. It all just comes down to what you love and what you want out of a career
Hey Theo. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. If I may ask, how is the switch salary-wise?
Ultrasound pays more than radiography 🙃
I applied for both diagnostic and ultrasound and was conditionally accepted for both. I have done shadowing and sent my documents to the accredited hospitals. I am now waiting for feedback and interviews. Hopefully, everything will go well.
Hey Theo please share a list of modules done in Ultrasound at UJ thanks ❤

There’s no bursaries I know at the moment; however if you train in a private hospital, they can fund your tuition.

Start applying for a training centre right away!

🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thank you so much for this..❤
Hi Theo
I've been conditionally accepted for radiography but i have a problem with the training facilities...can the interviews be conducted online?
It depends on the training centre. Some do allow for online interviews if you ask them
Loool I understand Theo.. i am also switching careers…😂🤣in the mist of all of this when do you rest mam???
I try to rest when I’m not working on a weekend but there’s always school work 😂😂 I’m living a movie

Isn’t ultrasound somewhat the same? Besides being able to open your own business

Are u self funded or using a bursary?

Hey Theo
Does ultrasound require you to write an NBT?
No; you don’t have to write the nbt
Hey , why did you not go for pharmacy? Is it good?
Its not bad at all but its not really in line with what I like..🥺🥺
