On the M25 it took me a bit to even figure out how to add or change the terrible games it came with, but now that I've done that I want to see about unlocking more potential on it since I know it can perform similarly to an RG353P. I have been poking around on the sd card using Linux to see what I can change in some of the config files. I also figured out how to fix the L2 and R2 buttons so they don't get stuck and actually feel pretty good. Looking forward to updates.
@@AeolusUX Consider I have about 20 or more retro handhelds I got over the last few years, the latest is the rg40xx and the Odin 2 Mini, so I have a lot to compare to. Ergonomics are good, but the screen is pretty low resolution. I don't think that the analog sticks operate in analog mode in most systems for now (like PS1). For some reason also I loaded Gran Turismo on PSP and it is in French and I cannot for the life of me find a config file to change to get it to go into English mode. You have to connect the SD card to a computer running Linux to be able to add or remove games, so I created a usb stick to boot into Ubuntu on my laptop. As for fixing the button, that involved taking it apart and putting some foam used for shipping chips that you can press the legs into, and putting it at the top of the button to create a pivot point so it actually presses like a PS5 controller. I had no high hopes for this as I got it from Aliexpress for about $60 shipped and knew it was probably not going to impress me. If you want good ergonomics and great performance for the price consider the Anbernic RG556, it has the best ergonomics of any handheld on the market, a great screen, and can play almost everything at at least 1 to 1.5x resolution up to PS2, Gamecube and Wii.

Interesting, so how's the ergo for you? I'm thinking of getting one as well with this update on the cfw situation might make me pull the trigger xD

Ergo is ok, but the firmware is the letdown. Hope this can be fixed as the processor is capable of so much more.
Enfin un cfw sur R43S Pro
