The golf/jetta c came without a centre consol just had a small piece around the gearstick with a coin holder. I've got one somewhere just not sure where lol. Took it off my jetta when I put a centre consol in

How do you get the different materials to line up nicely without stitching in the centre console area ? Do you just neatly cut and overlap ?

It is stitched but in other areas they're joined and cut
