    Thank you for doing this on a DOHC instead of a SOHC! Almost no one does custom builds on DOHC's it seems.

    So glad you guys started making videos. I always loved your products but this makes it much easier to visualize on my own project!

    Well, this solves my footpeg/shifter/brake issues. Gonna purchase in a few weeks. Doesn't get any better than this. Looks amazing.

      Also, I can't believe you have all those products for the gsxr fork swap. Talk about a timesaver and smooth look. Was trying to fab the parts..which isn't turning out so hot, lol.

    Just got my hands on a Tarozzi rear set for my 82 Kaw Kz550, had no issues on shifter side but may need the rods and connectors in the universal kit. Thanks for the video!

    For the bracket you make for the CB 750 f DOHC are having to relocate the side stand or cut it? The stand makes contact with the longer foot peg. Also the swing arm pin and the engine frame mount pin are long on the exit side (brake side) because stock mount is thicker. Did you find the same? Did you have to cut and rethread?

      Yeah I’m trying to figure out the kickstand situation now… its aaaaways something :-/

    • @jpalmiotti
      @jpalmiotti 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      At the end you can see the lever (the kick part) of the kickstand is removed. Did you come up with a viable solution? I don’t have welding capabilities.

    Great video! Can't wait to order this product. Does y'all have a disc brake adapter to install rear disc brakes on say a ... 1983 nighthawk cb550 (solid wheel/shaft driven)?

    Hey, do you guys make a bracket for the older Goldwings? 1982?

  • @marksmith5156
    @marksmith5156 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have a cb900f it's a 1980 it's haha gsxr750 engine fitted in it from a 1988 donor bike it's an ongoing project started by someone who became I'll so it's been standing since 2001 I purchased it last year had it running removed alot of the honda parts and replaced them with aftermarket bits I would like to fit forward controls as I have arthritis in my left hip so would make it easy for me to ride the frame has been altered to take the engine and had most of the gsxr wiring loom matched to the cb as I never started it it's been wire tracing but the bike was cheap and labour free when it's you own lol

    (Update: used needle nose pliars to hold head in place. Also, I definitely needed to lube up the outside of the 19mm socket that held the footpeg head while tightening the 17mm nut. I had to redo it as the socket got stuck in the rear set bracket!)
    Seems like a major design flaw, or is it implied one must have an electric torque wrench, and therefore the power keeps the swing arm bolt from turning? The clearance/hole diameter for the swing arm head is 28mm. The head size of the swing arm bolt/head is 22mm. Every 22mm socket I’ve handled (just went to three different shops to see if a thin wall socket exists) is well above 28mm in diameter, generally at least 30mm. With a well greased up swing arm, the swing arm bolt is going to turn when tightening up the nut with my torque wrench (24mm, and the hole on the bracket is large enough; yes, it’s well larger than the one on the other side). Any help on this would be appreciated before I start jabbing flathead screwdrivers and needle noses into the bracket to try and keep the head from spinning. - Honda 1981 CB750K

    Is this a cb750f or k version? I know the supersport came with nissin rear disk set up from the factory. while the k didn't. can the super sport rear break system fit onto a factor k5?

      @CognitoMotoTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have brackets for the K model specifically. It requires the gsx-r master as well. Same intall.

    Hi, can you guys tell me if this is a good option for a tall rider. Currently on my cb750k SOHC my knees are too high and would just like to be able to lower them a bit. Thank you.
