I actually like this song. Although 95% of the Aboriginal deaths by mistreatment are due to domestic violence from within their own community. It would be nice for this guy to go to Alice Springs, Katherine and Tennant Creek and seek out the real suffering of the indigenous traditional owners. The real battle is in outback NT and WA. Appealing to the "Deaths in Custody" debate in Sydney and Melbourne is merely a fashionable trend. Half of the 400 deaths referenced in this song were Police pursuits where the Police would not have known the race of the driver of the car which crashed. People who crash their car and die fleeing from Police are categorized as a "Death in Custody". It's good to have the debate. It's good to have a voice, and this song is a good one.
