As a fellow collector, I can attest that kiosks and arcade cabinets are both some of the most awesome and most troublesome items to collect. They look amazing in the game room and are fun to admire and play on... but they're a nightmare to move and a headache to store. I had to pass on a Gauntlet Dark Legacy cabinet I came across in a garage sale a few weeks back because I just didn't have the transportation or storage for it. I got a PS4 kiosk last year, and when I was bringing it into my house it cracked a tile. And the missus has NEVER stopped giving me grief for it ever since.
Buying at the end of a convention is key. Best deals for sure. Stores can always buy at 60-70% their retail, and still make a decent profit, plus, more importantly, provide games for their customers.
I still get shocked to see how far Rick has come from his $10 game collection videos not wanting to spend over $3 per game at a good will to these videos of him buying a kiosk for $1100 😂

I hope my input helps because I do like watching your channel. Thanks!
I'm driving down to Texas for work in a month and I'm going to take the opportunity to drive another seven hours to visit Game Point in Arkansas. Does it feel gross to spend almost a day and a half behind the wheel? yes, but I don't know when I'll get another opportunity to visit such a cool looking retro/gaming shop. Hopefully I can find some neat stuff to add to my own little nostalgia collection. I at least have to find a souvenir to buy from game point.
