As someone who used to work at a goodwill, it all depends on who works there. If they know about consoles and games that they might just take it for themselves or just reset the console, not thinking about preservation and more about the security of the previous owners' information. I believe there was a procedure for that exact thing. I had some coworkers who didn't know anything about gaming items and I guarantee those workers are why you get a bunch of goodies still on the console. Long story short, the chances of getting more free goodies vary on location.

Hybrid Drive is between normaal HDD and SSD. I have one in my PS4, it's a little faster as a regular HDD, but slower than SSD. It's not a big time saver tho😅

I think more PlayStation players end up taking their accounts with them to newer consoles and then sell/ give away their old console. That’s probably why you see more factory reset consoles on the PlayStation side. Not sure why Xbox players are leaving behind their accounts and stuff.
to me the xbox one's were what me from the early 200's used for gaming as gen z atleast since i never and still to this day do not get every new slang word or whatever thing people do to get the newer consoles now as well.
