Yes! that is one of my favorite aspects of Ringgold as well. You can be in the country side of Ringgold but still be close to bigger city amenities that are present in Chattanooga. If you are interested in finding a place to plant roots, I would be happy to help! Just Give me a text, email or call!
It seems like it has gone on for forever! The wider road is already helping with traffic flow, so that is nice. Can't wait for it to be completely done though.
Hi! Sounds great! Ringgold and the surrounding areas have a lot to offer and I would be happy to help you find the right spot for you and your family. Give me a call, text at 404-919-0124 or email at christopherowensrealty@gmail.com , so we can go over more details. Look forward to hearing from you!
Good luck with that, your kids will have no opportunities growing up so I hope you plan to send them away for college. In Ringgold you are sandwiched between high crime areas, East Ridge, Brainerd, Dalton. So many drugs, watch your kids like a hawk.
This place is horrid. I used to live there, if you didn't fit in you were outcast. There is NOTHING, unless you wanna work at SHAW, or Wal Mart. I moved to the Space Coast in Florida and couldn't be happier. With my degree in Cyber Security I have a hard time seeing any opportunities in Ringgold if I had stayed. Plus you are sandwiched between two high-crime areas, Dalton and Chattanooga.
Yes! Ringgold is full of interesting history. One of my favorites is the Ringgold Train Depot. The Depot is where the Great Locomotive Chase in the Civil War ended. How it began was that the Union captured a Confederate Locomotive engine. The Union volunteers were hoping to reach Chattanooga and the chase cut right through Northwest Georgia, going through cities like Calhoun and Dalton. The chase ended at Ringgold where confederate forces were able to catch up to the stolen locomotive. The Ringgold Depot is kept up very well with some of the original weighing equipment still there. You can even find bullet holes that date back to the civil war era on the building. The Depot is now used as an event center were you can do weddings, meetings and they even use it as a haunted house around Halloween. Its a fun place to visit! Also, the Chickamauga Battlefield is a short drive away from Ringgold. Ringgold, along with all of Northwest Georgia is full history and makes it a great place to explore.
@@livinginnorthwestgeorgia and right across the street from the Depot is a fantastic Cigar shop called Dapper Gentleman. Tell them Jump sent you for a discount!!
Check out the story about the KKK bombing an African American Family. Also a Black Girl was murdered on a farm, everyone knows who did it, but the good ol boy system is strong and alive!!

@@AMPMChatt-Jax if this is true, I will help bury the people who did it.
Repeats himself too much, wasted time talking about traveling to Atlanta. I thought the video was about northwest GA.
Dead black girl found Dead in Country Bumpkin restaurant...still unsolved. The good ol boy system...
Dead people ARE usually found dead... you know, because of the dead thing. Which Country Bumpkin franchise are we talking about? Heil Ringgold!
