I have a ‘93 Previa with 185k miles. Still going strong with the original engine, transmission, and drivetrain. Durability and reliability is no question with this van. This is a keeper.

I bought a dark green Previa back in 2016 for $3500 with 84k miles. I just spent $500 on tuned up and brakes this week, now it drives real smooth. Now it has 134k and it passes smoke check pretty easy, my 2005 tundra doesn't pass the smoke check.
    That Previa is a champion.

Just bought basically this exact vehicle with 150 more miles on it. Same color, year, trim, everything lol. Gonna look for that manual, good tip. My speedo isnt working for example. Btw the coin tray is an ash tray for cigarettes if you hadnt figured it out yet😊

Nice vehicle! I always liked the practical good looks of the Toyota Previa. Can you fit a 4X8 sheet of Plywood in the Toyota Previa? Is it made in Japan? It is too bad that the Previa was discontinued for USA market. The Toyota Sienna replaced it, which is also an excellent mini van.

In the USA both the normally aspirated and the supercharged models had the 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine.

What's your opinion on this van for a daily long fwy driver

It's fine up to 70mph or so but once you hit 70 you can hear the revs start to climb, but perfectly fine for normal 60mph freeway driving, does fine on long trips

i have and i know people with the supercharged models that can go 80+ with over 20 mpg! the s/c models have better transmissions than the non s/c ones.

Brotha I believe you are local to me in El Paso tx. Just purchased a previa and I need your expertise. It seems like it’s leaking gas from some reservoir looking thing towards like shaft area. Any clue?

Your fuel filter is in that area and so is the charcoal canister, very unlikely the canister is leaking but somewhat more likely the filter or banjo bolts are. It depends if yours is supercharged or just a regular 2.4L NA but I believe the fuel filter is under the driverside door area, that's also where some of your fuel lines are as well. And yes I'm in Northern El Paso towards the military base

😅😂I have exactly the same green one, 1997 model. When I drive it on the streets of Kuwait, all cars are modern, and I am not respected because of this car.
