i dont know if it was just me, but i feel that the street stocks are really loose on entry and tight on exit if you dont have correct amount of throttle compared to what it was before
Good news, wanted some perspective on all of this out of curiosity, as someone who doesn't run ovals and has no idea how to really interpret any of what they said in the release notes.
Kinda sounds like how you drive the late model stocks with the truck now. Really gentile on entry(I almost try to keep it straight on some tracks) and then get the mid corner grip and rotation, and then shoot completely straight out of the corner. The stocks I think have much more grip in general though
everyone raced trucks due to the fact they were good and felt good. Now they made them shit to get more money on other cars. Nobody asked for this it is a balance act for sales. Why the hell they do the shit they do. Go race in real life and see how dumb this is.
I think people liked racing them because they were easy to drive, sturdy enough to get minor damage with no issue, and they produced close racing. They were TOO easy to drive. Some real idiots thinking they're fast cuz they smash throttle and burn tires. Hopefully, it's more punishing now and people might actually have to use their brain to be faster.
@@quinnseitz1377 you never understand rubbing is racing. Trading paint or he put a donut on the door. This touchy racing is so far off if it is gonna be a sim.
@hollyrock911 huh? I know rubbing is racing, lol. I understand it very well. I'm just tired of people overdriving the trucks with 0 consequences, reinforcing people's bad habits. I have no idea what the trucks are like to drive in real life. I did really enjoy how they felt before the update, but I haven't tried the new build yet 😅
I feel like anytime there's more finesse and car control involved, the better, more authentic, that it makes. It requires patience as a driver.
Which means lots more wrecks from the impatient majority that makes up iRacing's subscribers.....
Thank god I hated how “numb” the truck felt. Especially compared to the B car that feels way more “intuitive” at slip
YES! I stay away from Trucks because of the grip being too much
The truck didn't have any grip before...
So we should expect a lot of cautions in trucks now
Isn’t that also what you expected before haha
@@DJYeeJay lol pretty much
It may have the opposite effect if it breaks up the pack

Did a race at Iowa yesterday. 60 laps. Caution free! And I was wondering why these things were so much fun. Had a blast
Damn bro is on his grind.
Good video, gonna try them out today and I hope to god the series is a bit better this season (but I doubt it).
More speed and off throttle time will always make racing better. May actually try out the trucks again for the first time in years
I like this. Can't stand being fasted and drafters just chill.

I'm interested to hear how it handles on road. The old trucks handled really good on road circuits and were a lot of fun.
I had never tried the trucks on road, but I've loved playing with Late Models on Road Atlanta.
@@alexcoxe4303 old trucks on mosport were incredible fun… races basically never went official though :((

To me it drives a lot like the next gen, won’t turn, won’t turn, won’t turn, boom snaps loose.
Aries as the outro is nice
It’s officially here now that you’ve posted
kinda funny they get light on superspeedways now

my first impressions.. the fixed setup at least for Kentucky is really good actually.. it reminds me alot of the ARCA car.
I'd love if we could get a tire management guide with this new update. Tips to make it last. Iowa the rf shredded ridiculously quick.

My lighting when I have to record at any time that’s not exactly 4pm
I haven't tried it yet, but a lot of my guys really aren't happy with the truck...looks okay to me though...
NOW I can like trucks. Now I want to do RTP
How does it feel at plate tracks? If they now have more side force, side drafting should be more of a thing… unless they didn’t model it.
Is it possible that this is now a little more like the older Silverado? I remember it was a lot more tail happy than the newer trucks.
Uhhhhh maybe a little the older Silverado feels like less side force in the corners though
Was waiting on this!!!!
I will have to take your word for it…as I have been stuck in the Rookies for several months now. I may never get to race the new truck.
Stay at the back of the pack and focus on avoiding crashes and you’ll boost your iRating in a couple races.
It's not 'Bambi on ice' now, is it? Wonder how realistic the grip levels are compared to IRL.
Bro switched themes to Mexico 😭🙏
Now we need to compare it to the real trucks to see if it's realistic.
Can’t wait to hop in these
Finally! Skill is needed!
go race a real truck . this shit is so far from anything you would put on a track. Caution 400 now.
Could you please do a video on how to road race with the Next Gen cars?
AWESOME!
is it like this at kentucky this week
Great video!
Fuck it I'm going Road to Pro
