So it’s a total of 2 woofer style speakers and 3 tweeters. Two up top and on on the bottom left. The other that LOOKS like a tweeter is not actually functional. The bottom tweeter only activates when rotated to its side.
Yah I have a private seller trying to sell me a open box like new for $200 cash.. that’s not really that great of a deal.. it technically used.. he has it on there for $350.. then I hit him with $150 and said no.. 2 days later he trying to say $200 cash today.. good thing I looked it up.. I do want it but only if I’m getting a deal.. if not I would rather buy from a store.. that way I get a receipt and a warranty and money back guarantee
Honestly Sony speakers are decent. Back then they were fucking amazing but now all these strange names for them and lack of love results in a decent speaker. Like compared to their headphones, night and day difference. I remember going to the park once guy had same speaker as this video I had my Soundboks 2. Sure his was all boomy but the clarity was non existent. I only put mine at half and we’ll his little get together liked my speaker way more than his. That was sad because SB2 was decent, lacked mids. Anyone who says Sony speakers are the best are tone deaf. They aren’t and they charge a fortune for these things. If you got it on sale for cheap do it, but retail…that’s wack.
YEAH RIGHT! Sony speakers since the 2000's all sounded distorted, no clarity and its FUCKIN BOOMY! If you say their speakers are good sounding then it means you have never heard or never paid attention to good sounding speakers. Your ears needs more training on how to identify which speakers and audio brands create good sounding speakers!
Party chain is wireless. No cables needed. Just pair to the speaker that will be the master and then press the party chain button on the other speakers that you want to chain and you’re done.
Honestly, it’s kind of an unfair comparison since Sony does have the xb60 which is the same type of speaker as the party box 100. However, I don’t really care about audio quality when it comes to these big portable speakers. I want features and the party box is the only one with 2 quarter inch inputs, so I’d go with it.

Not that I know of. The back only has a single mic in jack. If having 2 mics is important to you then I'd look into the JBL partybox 100, that has 2 quarter inch inputs on it.
I came here to hear how good it sounds like most other reviews of other sound boxes. Very disappointed. You have a noce voice, but people can read about all the other stuff but can't here the sound and that's why they are here. Better luck next time.

I couldn't accurately recommend one over the other without knowing what you're looking for. Also, I haven't had the chance to use the XB90 outside of just playing with it at Best Buy.

No battery is kinda the only downside honestly, as much as this speaker cost

According to the user manual on the XP700, it can only be chained with other SRS models. The XB72 is, unfortunately, a GTK model and can’t be chained.

If you hold the lights button for a couple seconds I think it turns the lights off.

After some googling I found an answer on the amazon questions that says it's 30 watts rms per channel.

It does well. It didn't get distorted at high volume and having an equalizer in the app basically gave me the freedom to tune the sound to my taste.
