This is such a nice puddleing station thanks for sharing the solar pump info I’ve wanted to add one but it’s so confusing what helped me here is knowing that the pump continues to run a bit even if it gets cloudy. Happy Friday!
This is cute but sorry to make a real butterfly puddling station you don't need that much water. Butterflies are looking for minerals mostly from the stations...add sand, compost, some salt, rocks to land on and maybe a small container for fruit.
This summer, I’m gonna use three parts sand one part, compost and river rocks for decorations; add water and remove the solar pump. Thanks for the advice. 🦋

Where are the Butterflys?
They show up every day during the summer months around 2 PM like clockwork
Love this idea! How often do you have to completely clean it? I would think algae would grow.
The monarchs butterflies migrate at the end of November so I will do a bleach and water solution at the end of the season each year. 🦋

This was a great find on market place, but I’m sure your local big box store;Lowes will have a great clearance sale in another month.
