She laughed at it, and she victim blamed me. Since then, I took down my video, and she took down hers. It still hurts.

Jack is the only guy I've seen say copyright claims are good and in this scenario I think he's right. So many people abuse the system it's viewed as a poison but it does help the smaller guys out it seems in this case.

This now forces the company to file a legal action in court, if they don't do anything, then TH-cam will put the videos back up and remove the Community Guideline strikes if there are any. If you go to court, and If you legitimately are using fair use, then the judge will dismiss the case and you can ask for the plaintiff to pay your legal fees. Often they do not pursue the legal action as copyright cases are extremely expensive in general so it becomes a very risky proposition as fair use is decided case be case and it really depends on the judges interpretation

I have a lot of respect for Jack's last point. We should only report the videos that include our own clips. I would also like to add that while what SSSniperWolf is doing is wrong in a general sense, there's probably people who don't care that reaction channels use their content without their permission. It should be their choice to decide what to do when a reaction channel uses something they made. For me personally, I've had a TikTok of mine featured in one of JSchlatt's TikTok reaction videos, but I honestly thought that it was kinda cool that a big TH-camr saw something that I made and seemed to have liked it, so I didn't take any action against him. If I found out one day that that clip was now gone from that video, I'd honestly be a little bit bummed about it. There's probably other people who would feel similar, and that's why it's important to only report the videos that include our own content when we aren't personally okay with it being there. If we report videos on other people's behalves, those people might not like that we did that.

So I got to know about this: jacksepticeye, a well loved youtuber, also used to not give any credits in his occasional reaction vids .... BUT: in his recent videos, after this movement by jacksfilms has started and got much attention, jacksepticeye started giving credits .. even though I like Sean a lot, but criticism should be there whenever there is a need, so yeah John, you're doing some great work, keep it up.
I'd argue that "giving credit" isn't even enough. You still took it without asking them first, which is the entire problem. Admitting to it by giving credit doesn't make it any better. The _only_ correct way actually do this is to not only ask for permission first but also be prepared to actually pay people for the use of their content (licensing). If you're going to rake in profits from the use of somebody elses content then it only stands to reason that they rightfully deserve their slice of the pie. They can't pay their bills with 'credits'.

I have a lot of respect for Jack's last point. We should only report the videos that include our own clips.
I would also like to add that while what SSSniperWolf is doing is wrong in a general sense, there's probably people who don't care that reaction channels use their content without their permission. It should be their choice to decide what to do when a reaction channel uses something they made.
For me personally, I've had a TikTok of mine featured in one of JSchlatt's TikTok reaction videos, but I honestly thought that it was kinda cool that a big TH-camr saw something that I made and seemed to have liked it, so I didn't take any action against him. If I found out one day that that clip was now gone from that video, I'd honestly be a little bit bummed about it.
There's probably other people who would feel similar, and that's why it's important to only report the videos that include our own content when we aren't personally okay with it being there. If we report videos on other people's behalves, those people might not like that we did that.

So I got to know about this: jacksepticeye, a well loved youtuber, also used to not give any credits in his occasional reaction vids .... BUT: in his recent videos, after this movement by jacksfilms has started and got much attention, jacksepticeye started giving credits .. even though I like Sean a lot, but criticism should be there whenever there is a need, so yeah John, you're doing some great work, keep it up.
I'd argue that "giving credit" isn't even enough. You still took it without asking them first, which is the entire problem. Admitting to it by giving credit doesn't make it any better.
The _only_ correct way actually do this is to not only ask for permission first but also be prepared to actually pay people for the use of their content (licensing).
If you're going to rake in profits from the use of somebody elses content then it only stands to reason that they rightfully deserve their slice of the pie. They can't pay their bills with 'credits'.

Bingo Idea: It’s a normal 3x3 card and normal bingo rules but every slot is the same. So it’s only the common ones like shaky cam, summarizing, random tangent, Jack predicts just so it’s someone even. For example if there is two counts of summarizing you mark 2 spots and you will be given a random order to mark them. (Also there is no free space)
