Best knives in their category as of Oct 2022. Looking great. Benchmade Adamas - amzn.to/3N84pyc Spyderco PM2 - amzn.to/3SriXK5 Buck 341 - amzn.to/3smrVOm Hogue Deka - amzn.to/3D1FJ5G
10 years later I still havent found a reason to replace my kershaw skyline. $35 when i got it for a US produced hollow ground flipper with 14c28 stelel and g10 handles.
Not gonna lie, the Mini Adamas is a little heavy/chunky for EDC. I’d still carry it though. The Deka was great, but it kept falling out of my pocket. When I was doing work on a property it kept falling out at least three times. Traded that sucker for something else. Then the Para 2, great knife but not very easy to actuate the lock with gloves on.
@@MarineXCan you point me towards a knife with a clip of some sort to attach to belt or jeans that can also be used for self defense so I can carry "a tool" when I'm not allowed to carry my gun
@@KenBro05 For different purposes, agreed. I have a kabar swabbie but that doesn't fit in my pocket for work. Mini adamas meanwhile fits well, looks badass, feels chunky in hand and has a thick cruwear blade I don't worry about hurting.
Yeah, the PM2 is not remotely slim. It’s actually has one of the worst closed size to cutting edge ratios out there. Fragile blade too and the compression lock’s ergonomics just are nowhere near the top of the pack
@@dereksteele2284PM2 is bulky, 940 is stronger than the PM2 in every respect. The smaller, slimmer knife is the better work horse, major fail for the PM2
@BC08 bulky? You're too weak to carry a 4oz knife? Spyderco has a much better blade geometry than any benchmade. And, that axis lock is a weaker design. I'll take spyderco any day
I have all but the buck. All have their plus/minus. I did own the full size buck in polymer. Lock would slip. Out of all of them I like the mini adamas most.
Deka is cool, it's a wharncliffe blade. Adamas is meh. Don't buy a buck you could get even better for the same money. Stick with Kizer or Civivi for a budget knife
I stand by what I said. Buck WAS a great knife... It's not top tier in any category. So for the money I'd rather buy Chinese. Although I carry Spyderco and Protech exclusively
Midway USA periodically has some deals on decent quality knives ..I bought quite a few....like sog pillar for $80...they will have some buck knives on sale too
no, it’s definitely not. it’s good if you want a knife to do things knives aren’t designed for. but for cutting shit the pm2 beats it all day everyday. plus fuck benchmade.
@@acid6urns wrong again the 940 is superior to the pm2. U should never ever use a knife for anything other than cutting. That’s a foolish statement. The benchmade 940 is considered the best edc ever made the pm2 is not cry about it
@@rommelthedesertfox3089 the osborne is only considered the best by benchmade meat riders 😂 it literally has awful geometry. cry harder about your osborne that can’t even slice half as good as a pm2. oh also, how much does the s90v osborne cost again? $300? versus an s90v pm2 going for… 165? the magnacut one for $230? benchmade is overpriced garbage and their s30v isn’t even good.

I love spyderco!
Mass drop terzuola hands down: light, s35vn, ti liners, beautiful blade shape (bm940esque) flips like a dream and feels like nothing in the pocket
The PM2 and the Hogue are two of my very favorites.
Aren't they magnificent!
@@MarineX you gotta get the OG aluminum scales to replace the frn on the deka. Wish they made copper scales for it. Tremendous knife tho.

Slicey dicey my friend. Cool video!
The pm2 is my dream blade i just cant afford it every time i get close something comes up where i have to use the money
I prefer the para 3:) js
Thank you, man!
Got the sencut Sachse and it really nice for that price
got the mini adamas for my dad! he loves it!
Houge deka and Benchmade mini have been best purchases all year.
I’m too through with Benchmade, but will be happy to check the rest! A Hogue? I’m surprised, and a bit intrigued!
TOPS, though, are the best knives for me!
love my pm2
Spyderco Shaman for me
I need an adamas
Love my elemntrum
Reverse tanto come at me bro! 🤣
940 ?
Have all these except the buck. Love them all equally.
I had that Buck when it was new and it’s not one of the best edc knives.
Benchmade needs to regain my trust, my presidio held up worse than a gerber paraframe
I refuse to carry a mini knife. Give me the full size.
Mister larger hands over here
You should have small knives and big knives and medium knives

PM2 is still the best EDC in my book, just because it’s so slim, lightweight, and capable
It’s not slim it’s bulky also the benchmade 940 is considered to be the best edc ever made

Why do you like it most and what other Benchmade knives or hogue knives do you recommend
Hogue deka gen2 is where it’s at
Except the pocket clip. I found it too weak so I put the gen1 clip on it and like it much better. Less screws is better though.
I want a stronger 535
You forgot the Zero Tolerance ZT0450
Mini adamas
nice
Tanto for life
Hell yeah! I like tanto blades.
Where has this channel been all my life??
only the spyderco is one of the best on the whole list 👍
Benchmade is better than spyderco
My Para 2 is a constant companion. Quality knife.
There’s a new Mini-Adamas in MagnaCut and Fat-Carbon handles. It looks amazing.
and the magnacut is at 60-61 hrc so literally not even worth the money 😂
@acid6urns yeah I would want 62 at a minimum
