I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your blog, I fell into your blog accidentally. One day I was just thinking about my mother and the memories that we had when I came across it one day and started watching it and I had to watch everyone of your videos. I wanted to let you know that I am a 56-year-old woman that lost her mom when I was in my early 30s and so I was not able to learn through experience about gardening and flowers from my mom. I so enjoy seeing videos of you doing things with your mother and the friendship and closeness that you two share. I have learned so much from your videos about gardening, you have helped me be able to bring my mom back alive in my flowers and in my garden. I love working in the dirt because I feel like it brings me closer to my mom, I can’t thank you enough for what you were doing, for the kindness of your heart and the positive atmosphere that you have. I know with your growing family it is hard to do these videos but please know that you have helped me bring back the tender moments from my mom and remember the things that we did do while she was here on this earth.

Laura, you inspired me to plant mostly white flowers on my back patio! I did that because we sit out there mostly at night during the summer and it has been a good move, like you said they totally glow at night with our torches and lights! Thank you!!!!

Hi from Colorado, we're also dealing with the wild fire smoke. Prayers to all who are dealing with it locally, and the firefighters❤ I'm glad you're bringing more color to the west side. I envision many shade of purple and blue, mixed with the white to cool it down. Overall it's a very peaceful space, love the structure and soft elegant feel! You're amazing, and so inspire my garden. Thank you both for dedicating your life to the talents God has given. And to Aaron for really exploring the technical side of your property. You guys make a great team!🙌💗
Laura you are looking great and so is the yard! Such an inspiration. I wanted to compliment Aaron too, I don't think people realize he is a big part of why your videos come across so professional. You are a great team and he knows exactly how to shoot you and exactly how to best show off what you are trying to describe at the moment. I hope you do some videos on plants other than Colorado blue spruce that are great blue foliage plants for the garden. I'm in zone 7 and blue spruce are not doing well here and the more reputable garden centers will not even sell them. They are so beautiful in your yard and I, like you, like the blue, green, red, yellow foliage groupings but it's hard to do without the blue spruce!
I love your Moon garden. In Florida I had a yard that was all green in the back and adding white blooms made it so enjoyable after sun set. Your gardens are always amazing!
Good morning! I love your west side garden. For me it's so polished and orderly. I love the brick walkway and the gravel driveway. I don't know how you do it, you seem to have unlimited energy and look so pretty doing this. The 100 degree weather would do me in!! Lol!
West Moon Garden is my favorite area against the brick path. Would miss it’s singular allure if changed from the special place to enjoy in the summer evening! Ethereal is necessary for balance in life. Thank you for the gift of perfection you share daily.
I am really enjoying the smaller tours. It has been easier to take it all in and not be overwhelmed. The space looks so beautiful, but you have to love it. Looking forward to you creating the moon garden on a smaller scale in the shade.
Anyone remember when this side of the garden was sloping toward the edge of the property and constisted of grass? Also who remembers that big random piece of concrete they pulled out somewhere over there? As always, great video!:*
Such a peaceful walk for my coffee with Laura and Aaron, Russell, and Cheddar. I just love your honesty Laura in telling us how you forgot to look at some plants for awhile or that you missed seeing something come on like the spider mites. It is great that you show exactly what it is and how to take care of it! By the way you could call that plant a balloon plant instead of the other common name that cheeky Aaron tried to get you to say LOL Hope the smoke clears out soon as that is no fun to be out in and I know you will be careful but please watch the air quality when you will be out so that you are not out during the bad time. Last year we had to limit the amount of time the children could be out on the playground because the smoke was so bad from fires around us up in Washington state. Take care.

I’m sad to hear you’re not into the moon garden. It’s beautiful, even at this first stage/season. You have so much colour everywhere else and the daytime white garden is carried by the structure. The WOW when overcast or in the evenings is worth it. Like all the work that goes into Christmas lights. I hope you give it a little more consideration over the winter and review video over time. It’s so very pretty
I love the white. I appreciate the colors. I love the sun flowers. I have even seen a neighbor cover their front yard in mostly sunflowers and other flowers. And pink roses are really nice in a garden. But, snow white brings me such peace. I don't think that I will change my mind about it. I do know the feeling of constantly rearranging things to find the perfect place for them. Once I find the perfect spot that works I am so happy about it. Blessings.
I think that space is crying out to be a Rose Garden. Hybrid Tea Roses are so beautiful and would look so delightful in floral arrangements My moon garden was in the shade and surprisingly my petunias bloomed and even reseeded themselves. I love little surprises like that. I can understand how white would not be as dramatic in the sun.
Gardens like yours is what I strive for! Y’all have an amazingly beautiful place and your Maple Trees have gotten big quick! Very beautiful trees. I appreciate the structure and how y’all have everything in layers. Very beautiful and god bless.
I love every part of your moon garden, I love color too but I think you have knocked it out of the ball bark with a lovely, peacefu,l heaven like, space.
I love love love the look of your moon garden it's just so pretty. But I especially love the flowers around the trees. They definitely have that light airy or wispy look. But that's what makes me love them planted in mass. Thanks for sharing!
Love the diamond mountain, looks so soft like clouds. Learn so much from your videos, especially being exposed to plants and flowers I’ve never seen before. Thank you 🌱🤗
Love all the white growing, I set two containers after watching you start to plant and all my neighbours compliment them, I’m amazed how you know the name of every single plant you have, all the best from Ireland🇮🇪😊
Another fantastic video 🙌 Thanks for taking the time to edit in the close ups of the spider mites as I really appreciated being able to see this detail. I really struggle to work out why some of my plants aren’t thriving so I find you guys sharing these elements with us really useful.
I loved the idea of a moon garden and started one just because you did a video on putting one in. I got some great ideas for plants from this video even though you are abandoning the idea of an all white garden. I loved the tour and I appreciate how real you are about learning things about yourself. Thanks, Laura!
I'd love to hear what your mother thinks when she is ordering plants for the store. " I better get extras of this or that because Laura is going to love them?"
@@joanward7390 Boy would it be tough to be a neighbor of Laura's. No matter what you planted it would never be as awesome as her yard! But she's so nice, you probably wouldn't mind. Lol.
Even though it’s lacking a bit, it still looks really pretty. This heat is totally killing my plants and I have no drip irrigation in sight for maybe another year. I do have to say that your garden has continued to be an inspiration to me, your garden tours are like a mini vacation from the crazy times were in right now; and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate it. I also noticed the sub count is rising, so close to a million!!! I always recommend your channel to other struggling gardeners, and I’ve seen how much better your channel has helped transformed their gardens!
Time away from your more established gardens, due to the ongoing focus on the new area and your pregnancy inconveniences this spring have actually afforded your viewers something special: we are seeing and hearing about little areas that allow you to show us more about the summer grooming of plants. Your gardens always seem so perfect, and ours don't always! Having you coach us on how and what to do is a great benefit.
I ❤️❤️❤️you guys! You have the sweetest, kindest personality! I never miss a video. I love that you’re so particular about everything you do. You remind me of a younger version of myself. I love to work and see my accomplishments too. Side note: I know you can hear the building noise, and that is a slight irritant to you. Maybe Aaron does something to quieter down while editing? But honestly, your viewers can barely hear it😊 Thank you for sharing your life with all of us!!
It's so nice to see plants in-ground next to others! I get so much inspiration from your channel. I was wondering if you could do small plant spotlights? Maybe a plant that you've just been loving, what plants go great next to them, small care tips, etc. It would really help those of us who are still relatively new with how plants do and grow!
The sea of superbena is just gorgeous!!! Along with the snowdrift. This was a great lesson on what white plants I would like to incorporate into my colorful garden! Aaron, your mischievousness gave me a well needed laugh😂 thank you! A delightful, educational video.❤️
The view looking straight down the brick pathway towards the vegetable garden is very pleasing to me. And someone needs to invent smell-a-vision! I would love to watch your videos and be able to smell the flowers and plants : )
I have white swan Echinacea in a pot which I planted on a moon garden theme and it is so beautiful. I am really impressed with how it has performed through storms, winds, rain and heat. It always looks mint.
We have two little girls who watch with me and I always comment, "Isn't Miss Laura lovely, girls?!" "Oh, she handled that situation with such grace didn't she?!" Miss Laura, thank you for being such a wonderful role model--not just for our children, but for me as well.
Thank you for this tour! When I first heard the term moon garden (long ago) and found out what it meant, my first thought was "meh". However, I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what you did with your moon garden, including the hardscape you've done. I'm determined to find some way to incorporate this concept in my small yard somehow. I perfectly understand why you want to change it, but I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate seeing how you've designed this garden. I would never have thought to do this in my own garden without you showing me how it could be done. Sometimes I have to see things in order to understand their full potential. Now I can always refer back to this video when I'm looking for inspiration. Of course, I do that with all your videos. :)
We have so much shade in our yard that I use mostly white flowering plants and shrubs. Lots of azaleas, impatiens, geraniums and begonias. Snow hydrangeas. Structure with arborvitae . Rosemary, camellias, gardenias, jasmine. Daffodils and lilies. I usually have something blooming here in north Georgia. I love your videos. I learn so much.
I’m having such a tough time with spider mites this year too it’s a huge bummer ☹️ I’ll be happy to see how you take care of such a big problem in your garden
I swear you are a mind reader, every time I think "I wonder how this part of the garden is doing:" I wake up the next day and there's my update! Thank you for sharing as much as you have, I am obsessed with moon gardening and am trying to create my own on my new property, and seeing your journey made me realize that I still love moon gardening, but I think I would also prefer it to be in a shadier/part sun area, which is the opposite side of the house I was planning on. Could you possibly do a video on all white part sun/shade plants for the spring?
I still love love what you did in the West side garden with the evergreens and white flowers, it just pops! This summer we visited a nursery and my teenage daughter bought one of "those" plants lol because of the name. She has been keeping an eye out but hasn't seen much activity only small buds. I'm going to share this video with her as she's been wondering what to expect once in full bloom. As some have said before it's amazing how fast and big plants grow in your area. Keep up the great work, truly enjoy your videos! ❤️
I did diamond euphorbia around box balls in our urns this year and I love them! Would be a good thing to try in the big urns. They have such a pretty structure all the way around the boxwood but they don’t trail over the container so far that they cover them up.
Love it! What a gorgeous space the brick pathway, the urns the choice of plants it’s beautiful. But looking forward you adding color to this space. It’s going to be even more amazing. Have a fantastic weekend with your family. I will miss you guys tomorrow.
I know you’ve already planted it up, but a moon garden would be beautiful on the side of the house near the new walkway and circle. I hope you decide to try it again on a smaller scale in a shaded area sometime in the future! 💗💜💗

I don't think that I will change my mind about it.
I do know the feeling of constantly rearranging things to find the perfect place for them.
Once I find the perfect spot that works I am so happy about it.
Blessings.
Will you be doing more winter sowing this year ? Laura is so funny, indecent lol and Aaron being mischievous 😊
Aaron was totally baiting Laura to say hairy balls!
Lol 😝
😂🤣
Thank you Aaron for the close ups of leaves and flowers and the comparison with healthy folage. So helps us novices.
Beautiful area. Love you asking Arron questions. Cute banter.
I love the red cabbage around the garden entrance!!! So whimsical and cottage style
Holy cow, those Scaevola flowers are enormous! Everything is so beautiful. And I love how you added some edibles. You are brilliant!
What a beautiful area. Love the plant choices. Aaron is so cheeky. 😁
I love how much Aaron gets into this and can name the plants.
Another fantastic video 🙌 Thanks for taking the time to edit in the close ups of the spider mites as I really appreciated being able to see this detail. I really struggle to work out why some of my plants aren’t thriving so I find you guys sharing these elements with us really useful.
The white looks beautiful to me in the day!love it with the green plants!
Amen! Don;t ya just love Moma?
The locals must try to beat Laura to the store! Lol
@@joanward7390 Boy would it be tough to be a neighbor of Laura's. No matter what you planted it would never be as awesome as her yard! But she's so nice, you probably wouldn't mind. Lol.
Jennifer Tucker, knowing how awesome a neighbor she is, she would probably bring over and plant a few goodies to get us started.
Such a peaceful environment.💮🌼 Awesome! White eggplant( 1st time seeing) 🤔wow! Thank you for the beautiful wake up this morning.🍵
That's the original variety, which is why it's named "egg" plant.
@@Bamboo4U2 O wow! Thank you for that, I was just reading up on it😊New gardener 🤫
Thank you guys for sharing your beautiful garden plantings 🤗 Have a beautiful day and stay safe 🙏
You’re doing a good job everyday on TH-cam, thank you for talking us on tour around your beautiful garden
I am so in love with this area, and the white theme, that I started working white flowers into my gardens💚💚💚
Wonderful!...Wonderful moon garden....brilliant glowing white flowers all over...I love it all!...
Thanks for sharing great video...💖💝
But honestly, your viewers can barely hear it😊
Thank you for sharing your life with all of us!!
I just love this white and green combination.
Aaron: “What are those called again?” HILARIOUS!!!! He knew the common name and wanted to hear you say it! Lol! Naughty boy!!! Love it!
A delightful, educational video.❤️
your excitement over a discovery...child like and precious!
I think the variety of red catus plant
looked beautiful with the white plants!💗🐈😺
“Don’t make me say it.” Haha. ❤️
Haha. I didn't know the name of that plant so I googled it right away! 😅
I googled. 😂
Stopped the video, Googled name, chuckled, continued video.
I too googled it - lol - Arron dirty minded man lol
Yup. Me, too.
I can just see Benjamin zooming down that straight walk on his big wheel😂 I love that walkway💕
We have two little girls who watch with me and I always comment, "Isn't Miss Laura lovely, girls?!" "Oh, she handled that situation with such grace didn't she?!" Miss Laura, thank you for being such a wonderful role model--not just for our children, but for me as well.
This is my favorite of your gardens! Love it so much. What a treat this Saturday morning!!!
You are a breath of fresh air!!! I love it!!!
Your Gardens are amazing and I love watching your videos
We have so much shade in our yard that I use mostly white flowering plants and shrubs. Lots of azaleas, impatiens, geraniums and begonias. Snow hydrangeas. Structure with arborvitae . Rosemary, camellias, gardenias, jasmine. Daffodils and lilies. I usually have something blooming here in north Georgia. I love your videos. I learn so much.
I absolutely love your Moon Garden. Your attention to detail and explaining it to us is so helpful. Thank you
Thank you for sharing how ever you create your garden it will look beautiful.
I’m having such a tough time with spider mites this year too it’s a huge bummer ☹️
I’ll be happy to see how you take care of such a big problem in your garden
I think this garden area is beautiful -- very cottage-y -- my fav!
I understand if you don't want the moon garden, but it sure is beautiful. It inspired me to find a place to have one.
Beautiful Laura. Love everything about your garden
Love this tour of the moon garden. So peaceful and lovely. Wish I had more room to creat a moon garden. Maybe some day.... Living life vicariously through your awesome videos. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gardens with us.
Oh those gophers! Just made me heartsick when you said they ate all around the crabapple😢. And spider mites also. It's a constant battle isn't it. I had aphids this summer I was fighting. And Laura, you always look lovely no matter if it gets to a hundred and five. We can't tell on the video. ️ ❤️
I LOVE, LOVE the diamond mountains!! My gardens look awesome this year, due to all your great suggestions and knowledge. Thank you! Stay safe.
I too am dealing with spider mites that I found late. I’d love to hear more about the 6 week regimen!
Hello Laura, I live in Victoria Australia, our state was desimated by bush fires in January of this year. Please know I send your state every good wish for all of your safety especially for the firefighters who risk their lives for every one. Sending you love and my thoughts during this time.
Hi Laura, your Moon Garden is really stunning and gives a fresh peaceful Look💚👀
I love watching your videos everywhere it looks amazing to me, thank you for struggling in the heat wave to share your beautiful landscape. I also love your cats they are so playful and follow you everywhere. Continue the good work you and Arron are the Best! Kudos ❤️👍👏
Would you consider doing a mood garden in a smaller area? I still love these plants and the concept!
I agree with Mykie Jean!
I was gonna say the same thing! I also like pairing white with purple 😊
I think incorporating some pale yellow and purple with the white would make a stunning moon garden.
