Laura thank you doesn’t even come close to expressing the gratitude I feel for you and your channel, as a retired Canadian 🇨🇦 military veteran and an empty nester , my compass was all over the place and I found myself struggling. Throughout my military career I always dappled with plants and gardening but with being posted to a new province every three yrs for 21 yrs I never got to see my perennial plants in their full glory, never got to harvest from my newly planted fruit trees and bushes …I literally and figuratively didn’t get to enjoy the full fruits of my gardening labour ..but a couple of years ago I found you and Aaron and you relit the fire, my passion for the garden returned 10 fold, thanks to you I’m confident with my seedlings, I’m content with my piece of heaven and I’m on a gardening journey that fills me with so much joy every single day…last fall I had a new brick patio put in and the guys are here now building the pergola over it, I’m restructuring my deck for my gardening needs, and a new greenhouse is breaking ground as I type this..from the bottom of my heart Thank you for being my mentor and setting my compass straight again ❤️

As a military brat, I can empathize with you on the restationing blues. We were restationed about the same number of years as you. It is soooo difficult to leave friends you have made and the loveliness that you created for yourself, where you are temporarily homed.
Now, that you are retired, you will be able to fully enjoy the "fruits of your labor". ENJOY!!!!

I don’t know if Rosa and/or her family watch your channel but if they do, they must be bursting with pride right now. You always give credit to others, and you can clearly tell how much you appreciate how well she’s taking care of all the beautiful plantings 🥰
I just want you to know how much I appreciate when you go back later in the season to show how a plant does. For those of us that are still learning about plants, this really helps. Now at the beginning of the season I can now better visualize what a bed will look like mid summer. Thank you for all that you. I love your presentation and your channel.
When a college has gardens this beautiful I believe it sends a message to the students that they are valued. Great progress in every area.

So sorry to hear of your mom's fall. I'm in the hospital this morning after a full hip replacement so I can really sympathize with your mom. I'll be up and doing PT soon so will have a much quicker recovery than she will. Your Community College update was perfect timing for me this morning. Thank you for this and all you and Aaron do.

So, I just spent two weeks in the hospital, and I came out a professional gardener, after watching every video made by you. Amazing information.

I have to say these beds & planters are some of the most colorful, most beautifully planted commercial outdoor spaces I’ve seen. So, so pretty Laura & Aaron. I think I recall seeing that you had someone there helping plant & of course Rosa & her team at the college are keeping things watered & maintained. the container at the bookstore w/ the "unplugged pink salvia" & the "sparkling amethyst verbena" is my absolute favorite container!!! those two are just perfection together!

When watching your videos planting the college planters this year, every time I could see Rosa (I'm thinking) in frame, dressed all in black - I'd think, 'She's like... a garden ninja!' 😁👍🥷🌺🌼💖 lol Good work all! The lively collection of flowers and plants make such a happy place!

All the planters are stunning Laura! I am praying for your momma’s surgery! My mom fell 6 feet off a ladder years ago and had to have 2 surgery’s to repair a shattered heal. 1 year of recovery with no weight bearing.
My son fell off a ladder 4 years ago and sustained a pylon fracture to his tibia. Two surgeries, pins and bracing, a plate and 8 screws later he’s doing very well. Hope Laura’s mom also recovers quickly!! Best wishes and prayers for her! 🩼🙏

Thanks for the update tour. I think my favorite thing is all the different bright lime colored sweet potato vines. They really do set off all the other plants. What a beautiful combination of colors you have come up with this year. I'm going to have to go back and watch this again and take some notes. Every time you said "these four plants would be beautiful put into one planter" I wish I'd written it down. I'll definitely have to go to rewatch this again with a pen and paper. Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration.

Good morning another hot day in Dallas Texas 106 today been that way for weeks now most of the plants is turned crunchy the grass is turned brown and it seems like no matter how much water I put down nothing works. So I sit here and drink my coffee and enjoy the morning

I love how the Salvia Unplugged Blue mixes with the Supertunia Bordeux. You have outdone yourself this year! The combinations are lovely in all the garden spots!

Just came across your channel today and I'm loving it. You are in my old stomping grounds! I grew up in New Plymouth and my mother had a business in Ontario. I now live on the north Oregon coast, a very different climate. Wonderful channel.
Thank you for introducing me to the proven winners plants. I only buy supertunias now they just are the best most vigorous growers. I cannot believe it is a month and look at the growth on the planters. This year because of you we tried the blue suede shoes salvia and the hummingbirds love it. Thank you for all you do you are an amazing gardener and person. I never thought I would be this into gardening and I'm in my 20s and I now have a huge garden, containers,borders , hanging baskets and fruit trees all because of you thank you.

Thank you for explaining annuals. As a new gardener, I couldn’t understand why I’d choose something that won’t come back next year to reduce having to manage as much. Nearly all season color can be worth it in small doses and to fill holes where I’m waiting for things to expand. Thank you!

Prayers for a speedy recovery for Mom! Have you guys ever considered compiling a "best of" series of GA videos? Your content is pretty much "evergreen", no pun intended, and I know this community would like to revisit prior year's projects and plantings. I was thinking if you had several edited and ready to go, when life happens, such as it did this week, you would not have the added worry about filming, editing and posting new content. I for one would be happy to watch a week's worth of your beautiful cut flower arrangements, or best of fall planter arrangements, or the evolution of the cut flower garden, etc. I am in whole-hearted agreement with the rest of your admirers in gratitude for what you produce for us. I know from your recaps you and Aaron have such a strong work ethic and feel a responsibility to provide a quality channel (nailed it!). It would be interesting to see what your team would put together from the early days for those days when you are focusing on much more important matters.
