Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the company's first two-wheeler which will meet the upcoming Bharat Stage VI (BS6) emission regulations. The BS-VI emission norms will come into effect from April 1, 2020, and all two-wheelers and four-wheelers to be sold and registered from that date will need to meet the new regulations. The Honda Activa 125 BS-VI has a revised 125 cc, fuel-injected engine which gets lighter internal components, as well as new features to give it fresh appeal, as an all-new model. The starting price for the new Activa 125 BS-VI is Rs. 67,490 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Activa 125 with alloy wheels is priced at Rs.70,990 while the Activa 125 Deluxe is priced at Rs 74,990.
The new Honda Activa 125's 124 cc BS6 engine is fuel-injected but puts out marginally less power than the carburetted BS-IV Activa 125. The updated engine makes 8.1 bhp at 6,500 rpm, while the outgoing model puts out 8.52 bhp at 6,500 rpm. The lighter internal components in the engine are said to reduce friction resulting in significant refinement in performance, and the new model also gets Honda Eco Technology (HET) along with what is called "enhanced smart power", or ESP, which includes a noiseless alternate current generator (ACG) starter. Plus, the new Activa 125 will also run on regular BS4 fuel as well.

Minimum 2 litter of Fuel is compulsory to maintain in the tank due to FI else It won't work or start and the Fuel tank Capacity is 5.3 Litters.
So usable fuel is around 3.3 Litters, and on an average we can run this around 165 KM (if avg is 55 KMPL) and have to refill again.

Average on 125 is 42kmpl. Disc break is always better and worth it than drum brakes at front. Rear is always drum brake so no choice.

cant connect mobile .. no navigation like tvs n torq..honda should design a scooter which looks some how like a maxi scooter with less price so that we can accommodate two helmets that way we will get lot of underseat space and will be helpful for scooter using indian families .. scooter is more like a car for indians shopping groceries etc.. i mean more like a maxi touring scooter design with seperate seats and maximum comfortable suspension for long distance travel .. a 200 cc engine will do so that company can keep pricing very reasonable and competitive ..

honda forza 125 im talking about.. its 2019 and still we dont have a maxi scooter for touring in india.. its much more comfortable and refined with all the features . it has much more storage space and better engine too... manufacture such scooters in india to reduce the price.. indian model scooters looks primitive infront of such scooters.. we indians deserve something stylish and peppy to ride when honda has such scooters in thr stable already.., y cant they introduce it in india..

Guys I suggest switch to bicycle. Like Btwin or Hero or any in your budget. Keep yourself healthy, and try going for shopping in at least 5km radius of your house on cycle instead of scooter.
This will only help in maintaining your health and good for environment.

I can try. So, with that switch you are able to save fuel (According to Honda).
*Switch turned on/off before starting*
So, when you start the vehicle after turning on the auto-cutoff switch, your vehicle would keep running and won't turn off. The switch won't be active as there won't be any green indication light visible to you. But when the vehicles starts to move a few distance, the switch would become active and when you stop the vehicle, it would shut down the engine. So, that's that. So, initially before moving the vehicle, if there is no green light, you can turn the switch off and on and it would immediately become active.
*Use of the switch*
So, when the switch turned on, your engine would automatically stop when your vehicle stops. This won't require 30 seconds as mentioned in the video, it would only take 5-6 seconds at most to turn off the engine by itself.
Imagine, you are riding the vehicle and about to get into the traffic stop light and you have the switch turned on. So, when you vehicles comes into idle position, after 5-6 seconds the engine will be shut. Now, when the signal light turns green, you only need to accelerate and the engine would start automatically and the vehicle starts to move. So, that's how the switch is useful.

Yaar hero destini 125 to ekdam bekar gaadi he maine liya he ,do baar engine repair ho chuka he 4600 km. Tak ,1st me to 1800 km pe hi pura mobil oil khatam kar diya or dobara 4600 km. Me. Koi mat lena destini 125 verna agency ke hi chakkar katte rahoge.

@@PowerRacer bhai complain kiya he maine kaha agar manufacturing defect he to engine change karo to reply mila ki engine change karne ki koi policy nahi he, repair karwa diya jayega. Aur do baar repair bhi ho chuka he .Dekho ab kitne din chalta he.
There should be no confusion, n torq is best in looks, performance and handling due to its bigger tyres and 12 inch rear rear wheel. It is not for only young people but all age group and ladies also. I think n torq is three steps ahead of activa because of tyre size (which improves handling) , features and looks.

Engine is much smaller than before. Honda challenged making engine smaller for cost down only.like, Bearing size is smaller than ever. Oil seal dust seal is less. Quality point of view you should wait for buy this if market claim occurs. Maybe you face a lot of quality problem in the future.
