I appreciate all your hard work and investment. As a former cricut user, I've never had this much fun,support, and resources for a machine like I do with Silhouette. In my personal opinion everything I wanted Cricut to be Silhouette IS. Switching was the best decision I made for my crafting experience. You pretty much summed it up on how us who got gifted a machine for Christmas this year. LOL I am somewhat brave though, as mine is out of the box and on my crafting table. Plus I did try to do some cutting that went horribly wrong to get me pacing back and forth, looking at the machine wondering how woman was going to beat said terror in the battle of the machine vs human. LOL So to others, don't let the machine win because you CAN master it with all these videos and the help of the community to show or answer your questions. Males & Females score. 1 for human, 0 for machine. Come on people, I got us one point, help me out here. LOL

Hi Melissa thanks for the brief insight into how Silhouette School got started. You know the darnest thing happened, I was driving down the road and a Cameo Pro fell out on to the hood of my car. I guess you could say this a possible calling for me to start something, however my cutter is still in the beat up box unharmed I’m looking into learning and getting started with it, just a lil overwhelmed with the learning curve as you stated. I’m digging into the silhouette school videos that are available learning the capabilities of this cutter. I must say I am impressed. I’m looking forward to your future videos and again thank you.
Hi there! Glad you found me...but I have to say, we have A LOT of questions. Are CAMEO Pros falling from the sky now? How did it fall onto your car? I have to know!!
@@SilhouetteSchool lol no cameo pros aren’t falling out of the sky. Well it almost appeared that way when it happened but it actually fell off a moving truck. Crazy thing was it hit the hood of my car while driving & it slid/rolled up partially on an angle where my passenger was able to roll the window down & reach out & hold on to it. A few other items fell off the truck too & other vehicles were honking to get the driver’s attention to pull over. The truck pulled over about 300 yards down the road from me & the driver re-secured everything. The owner actually was not too far behind & saw us on the side of the road. After explaining what happened to the owner, they were sorry & explained that they were moving & prior to the move the cameo pro was one of their items that didn’t sell before their move. The owner offered me the cameo pro for my troubles. I thanked them and we went our ways. Minimum to no damage occurred to my vehicle so all in all this was a win win for me. I looked the cameo over & it’s all in tact.

I remember when I purchased my first Cameo many years ago it came as a bundle with a bunch of vinyl and tools and stuff. When it arrived, there was a booklet of yours with a lot of useful information. I went to your site (as it was listed on the booklet) and saw all the work you put into it and was like, "Who IS this woman? How did she get this gig?" I've even often spoken to my husband about it! You've kinda cornered the market in this arena! What is a fun way to make a living!
You are awesome!! Because of your blog and videos, I wasn't nearly as afraid to use my new Cameo 4 when I bought it and have done SO MUCH MORE with it than I ever anticipated. I've seen many who said they bought a Silhouette and then left it in the box for months or years because they were afraid to touch it. #sad Thanks for all you do! #success
Thank you for all you do. I have been a cricut owner since 2006ish and 2019 I purchased the business edition then I bought the Cameo 4. I registered it and tried a project but I soon became so frustrated and now my cameo sits in a box. I guess you just go back to what you are familiar with. Maybe I will dig it back out and try again now that I have a new work schedule and basically have Monday through Friday off.

Hi Melissa I havent been useing Silhouette cameo I have two machines 2 and 3 (think!!) I jjust did not get the Software so I quit. but now I am back trying to learn as I want to how to load doll patterns and print and cut them from Silhouette. I am moving along slowly. the reason I am writing the comments is I have been looking for the cloud. Did Silhouette take it away. This is one of many questions. I will get signed back up to School again will do that here soon. I was happy when I found you were still here on u tube. Barb
@@SilhouetteSchool I got the Cricut joy for Xmas and that prompted me to get the Silhouette out (it has been packed 203 years. I used it once maybe twice. Today I went looking for the Cloud could not find it or how to get to it. I have Studio designer plus and business. I have check for updates . Studio said it is up to date. I did sign up for Silhouette America and they will be taking payment for it shortly. I don't really know what else to do. I know I need to get some of the basic stuff out to the way. I use to sew doll s. now I am wanting to sew small dolls but I would like to cut the on the silhouette or even the Cricut joy for the smaller ones. Thanks for getting back to me so soon. Barb\

I have the silhouette cameo 3. I love machine but I am so over the software. Right as I’m in the middle of creating, the software will shut completely down. Is there a remedy to fix this issue? I have followed all of the instructions on the Internet but my problem continues to happen. I bought a brand new computer thinking that it would resolve the issue and it’s even worse. Can you advise? I have a question, I got my Cameo 4 on May 2021 together with my new computer. I use bluetooth with them, but sometimes application crashes, I get kicked out, it closes and says "there has been a problem" and does save my job. I've gone to troubleshooting, uninstall and reinstall, sometimes it works, others does not or use the USB cable to connect both. Does it have to do with what I'm creating (images)? I'm trying to make my business cards and used an aloe vera image from google. Thank you in advance!

I noticed you replied to all comments but mine. Just like Silhouette Cameo, NO justifiable reason as to why the software malfunctions. My repeated request but them also went unaddressed. If you’re going to support the product you also have to be prepared for all levels of difficulties. This is such a disappointment!!
