The only folding video of this bike I've seen, been searching for one forever. For me it's essential because I need to fit the bike in an old school residential building elevator. Quite a few other foldable bikes out there but nothing as fast or long range as this one.

Since too much is never enough this is very interesting/nice. I think the two extra shocks come in to play when there is a lot of weight on the rear rack/seat.
Yeah it makes a lot of sense for passengers. This would be the one you'd want to be chauffeured around on. Most bikes only have suspension for the main rider.
Comfort for an extra rider is good - I'm worried that for a lot of cargo, the excess rear suspension would make it too squishy/wobbly? If you've got a lot of extra weight back there you don't want it moving around
Unfortunately, it has been an illegal bicycle in Europe since January 2024. The new European regulations classify it as a "motor cycle", and it is not approved to be registered as such. If the Police or Civil Guard catch you with it, the fine is heavy, because even if you limit it to 25 km/h, the motor is still 1000 W, and it weighs more than 40 kg. Look for the regulations, it is easy to find.
@@mxx369The reviewer in the video literally said that you can ride it for 28.5 miles of range per full charge if you’re blasting it so it’s fair to say that most people would be getting a range closer to 32 miles rather than 100 miles if they’re blasting it and riding it at high PAS mode all the time. 100 miles is if you use the lowest PAS mode or no PAS at all.

Is there any type of anti theft security in this bike to cut off power? I mean in engwe engine pro You need to put inside key to power on bike, but i dont see something like this in x24? Does it mean You dont have any protection? And when You leave bike anyone can just power it on and drive?
The rear orange shocks looks like they are doing nothing, there is maybe an inch of clearance between the tire and the rear top frame so there is almost no room for the suspension to work.
@@MISTAMUSIK It is 2 swing arms. When the orange shocks compress the tire moves closer to the bagage/rear fender thing and it will have almost no travel before hitting the fender. When the middle shock thing compresses both arms will move in parallel and the distance between tire and fender will be practically the same no matter how hard the middle shock is compressed.
A very odd set up. I'm wondering if the mini shock is there to help compensate for rebound when there is a load on the rear rack, which seems to be part of the unsprung mass?
Due to its atyle and weight, rhis seems a hard sell. You want to xommute and go off road? There are lighter options that look similar. Want to commute at high speed in comfort? I dont see how this is any better. It just seems overbuilt and too heavy. The moto-style bikes can be this heavy, but they are powerful and styled a certain way, so its not comparable. Super76a are still as light perhaps lighter. So....i dont get it. Seems heavy to just be heavy
Interesting machine 👍 with seatpost suspension and a really big cushy seat & a gel seat cover plus a 🐑 sheepskin seat cover on top of that, it would be one SUPER COMFY cruiser 😅. Cadillac Ebike
Why do people still think batteries only last that long? You do know that most of the time when they claim cycle amount it only means that it will then have 80% of its original capacity so even if the battery is 500 cycles, it should still last up to 1500 before being inoperable, that’s four years only if you charge fully and drain completely every single day without missing a beat. Last I checked, most lithium ion batteries are rated at 1500 cycles, until it’s 80% capacity. Meaning that those can be operable for well over 3000 cycles. And the newer LFP, lithium, iron phosphate batteries are rated at 3500 cycles, before 80% capacity. Meaning those can be operable well over 5000 cycles.
I contacted engwe yesterday and they said they have not developed front and rear fenders for this bike yet so plan on getting drenched when you ride in the rain. Hard pass!!!!!
Both more & less danger, some would think. More danger from speeding cars (think speed differential). Much less danger from the bike's own speed (while I'd never want to crash at all, & a crash at 30 could - definitely - be catastrophic; a crash at 45 is worse via geometrically progression, to say nothing of 60 or 70 mph, which many motorcycles do easily. Fact is, you can be killed tangling with a car, but that fact remains true on any 2-wheeler. It's only a guess, but I'd wager that bikes are "safer" than e-bikes (which are safer than motorcycles). It just "stands to reason."
This bike is perfect for me. It's okay if it's awkward when folding, I just need it to fold so it can fit in the back of my car.

''Not an attractive bike''in reality all I hear all day from passers by is how stunning my X26 is!
True it's actually quite a beautiful bike, both futuristic and classic design

Just ordered mine yessss I love it
Whats max miles per charge?
And have you rode in the rain yet?
I got the 24 and it takes me everywhere for 5 hours in the single battery so I’m getting the second battery as soon as I can
How much prize do you deliver in Pakistan?
I don’t deliver

Would love to see this with BMX handlebars and a big front headlight. It’s hugely improve the look and ride position.
folding that thing was like a wrestling match lol...✌
😂😂😂😂WWE smackdown😂😂😂
Na it's easy, it takes me max 5 seconds 😁

In Europe this eBike is illegal. That is...
Depends which part of you Europe we talking about cause were i live cops dont give a damn about Ebikes. Besides you can still use it offroad legally.
Under worst case scenario, you can best expect a range of 32.62 miles per charge on that Engwe X26.
X26 is meant to do 100 miles per charge
Why are you saying 32?

I can't believe it doesn't have a front fenders. I have the engwe ep2 pro and I want to upgrade but no front fender in michigan is a no go.
So does it give the best ride?
What about a power RAIN? There Any problem?

Screw on the fenders yourself and inflate the shock absorbers with air.

Nope
I saw a key in it.
I would wrap it in chain and put a padlock on it.
Doesn't the wind in your eyes bother you? Helmets with visors are a must for e-biking, imo.
No need lol, i have regular bike Helmet and i have bike classes on and i ride pretty much all the time 40km/h 😊
Dunno how you can say it's not an attractive looking bike
Can it be purchase in India???

Where is the best place to buy this from?
In Ukraine
They should have just skipped the folding part and made a solid frame bike.
Oof, I was cringing at that bike gutter. Has to be Florida.
So much suspension and no fenders.
In my country it rains a lot so....no go.
I take bus sometimes but they are raising the price every 5 years 😢

This bike needs to be a dual motor then I'll buy it right the way!! Front 1000watts PLEASE
Where did you see a front motor?

The seat post can't be replaced. But that was a good idea.
Good luck replacing the seat post battery because the website doesn't sell them so in a year when that battery needs replacing You're out of luck

"Triple suspension" is just bad engineering and band-aides.
Unless it works well.....which he doesn't cover.
