Great show. Just picked up a 13000lb winch. Ordered all my straps and soft and hard shackles from rhino. Changed out my 100amp alternator for a 200amp. Put a 2 battery system in the expedition. Lots of toys to run.
I've always used warn m8000 on my YJ and TJs. But when i get my 4dr Wrangler I'll be looking at the 10k warn or quadratec probably. Thanks for the tips
I ended up buying that same bumper and winch in 10k capacity with synthetic line for my two door 2017 JKR. It's the first time I've gotten to handle synthetic rope, I always had wire rope in the past and the synthetic rope is much easier to deal with.
I'm hoping that they make a winch that can not only use one of the Aux buttons as a power switch, but also use two others to extend and retract said winch cable. If you or anyone else knows of such a winch, I'd be interested. Reason I'm asking is because I'm searching for things to use said Aux buttons for besides superfluous lights (so far, an onboard air compressor is the only option I can come up with; this still leaves three useless Aux buttons).
Awesome video and very well explained 👏🏼also this helpfully tool, I see videos when overland people in some situations got stuck they get out thanks to this tool.
I’m really disappointed in availability of aftermarket front bumpers that have a receiver built in for flexibility to plug in winch when needed, whether front or rear mounted.
Thanks Rob, very informative! Love the Quadratec videos👍

Well done!✌🏽
Why has the 12,000 synthetic disappeared off the website
This video was quite informative 👏 👌, thanks!

Should winch clutch be engaged or disengaged when not in use? For daily city driving?
Thank you 😇
Leave it engaged, so your winch line doesn’t sag.

Did I miss the Gladiator giveaway? I never heard who won the Gladiator.
The winner will be announced very soon!
@@Quadratec ok sounds good. I just thought I might have missed hearing who won.

Oh wow I thought that was for fishing lol🤔
I like to transport my wench in the front seat…. Pretty good at pulling nerves….
I used to be married to a winch...
Yeah, yeah, that's all fine and good, but seriously, what is a WENCH?
That's the thing that whines loudly when you spend a grand on a winch....
A winch is my last 4 girlfriends
Great, may i know your email?
How can I help you?
@@Quadratec I hope you can help evaluate the product.
Daddy likey
If you don't know you probably don't need one. Or you're very young and don't have a dad.
