Love your video. I was diagnosed with spondy 9 months ago. My doctor recommended physical therapy but it's too costly for me. Thank you for getting right to the point, not wasting words. The way you coach viewers through the exercises without talking on and on is priceless. Thank you so much.

Thank you for these exercises. My hanstring area has been very painful. I now understand what Im dealing with spondy L4. I got my spondy 35 yrs ago a blow to the back. It didnt bother me till 35 yrs later so here I am. 3 yrs of pain. Im avoiding surgery. PT seems to have made it worse some of the things they had me do. I have a new chiro that doesnt adjust like a push on my back anymore. Its a different technique. ABC. Im working on my weight, trying to get rid of that horrible pain in the hammy area. Excruciating. I get adjusted tomorrow and hope each time I get better. He told me no recliners as this will make it worse. Im Stage 2 L4.

Thank you so much doctor. I'm having problems standing straight up for a long period of time. Its like my core collapses if i had to describe the discomfort. And walking is a burden as well. I'm dx grade 1 spondylolisthesis and on my 4th session of decompression therapy. These excercises I will incorporate as well. I have hope because I'm very afraid of surgery. They want to do a fusion. 😢

      Interesting.
I do them sometime for spine decompression and to help my shoulders.
Wonder if I should try to do them regularly to see if it makes a positive difference.
(Obviously posture while dead-hanging important as I notice if I’m not careful and don’t engage my ‘corset core’ I can aggravate my back)

@@bradinipswich8407 I just read in a few PT articles - so far - that if done correctly and no longer than 30 second increments it can help decompress spine, improve posture, help with hyperlordosis - issues that possibly aggravated or contributed to my spondy. So based on that I will carefully do a trial.

@@vlewin1844 - really hard to answer without seeing your x-rays and knowing how bad your spondy is. You're primarily going to be looking to keep things from getting worse, but you can get a lot of back pain relief by working with the pelvis and sacrum to help minimize the spondy slippage.

I thought that once the vertebra is slipped that it is impossible to get it back, not even one millimeter. I thought that you can only do these exercises to prevent it from further slippage and that the only way how to get it back is a surgery. Was I wrong?

We don't usually adjust the vertebra that has slipped forward, but we see success with making sure the pelvis is in alignment and spinal decompression relieves a lot of pressure as well.

That's because you are blocking the pain and not solving the problem or minimizing the problem best you can. If your gluts, legs, core are not strong , you will be less stable and the back will take more if the load, or if you are doing work or lifting things, once again, if you are not strong in those areas, your back is taking most of the load. If you are at a grade 4 , you may need surgery to fix the problem, maybe even at a grade 3. I went from a grade 2 to a 3 then back to a 2 with these types of exercises everyday
