Ok I think I might of missed why but why did you want to loosen the axle nut before taking off the strut assembly? Would supporting the bottom with a jack help not pull out the axle? Thanks for any insight. Just picked up a ep3 a few months ago and I am used to 90's Honda suspension
If I would have loosened it, then it wouldn’t have pulled the CV axle out of the transmission. If you loosen the nut, or remove it, you can move the spindle assembly out towards yourself to line up the holes on the strut (or coilover) and bolt them together. If the CV axle comes out of the hub while doing this, it will also be easier to line them back up.
@@tommychism3904 there’s actually a pretty good video on the suspension setup on the EP3. I’ll link it for you. th-cam.com/video/3s1MuqCfPXQ/w-d-xo.html

@@shortstackgarage2063 dang that sounds like a pain to do. I don't want to mess with my axles just to go coilovers. Thanks for the fast reply
You’re welcome. It’s really not that much of a pain, unless they are really rusted in.
Wat size tires and wheels
What camber kit did you all end up using on the front of this?
I ended up selling this car shortly after the coilovers install. I never installed any camber plates or anything.
@@shortstackgarage2063 Ok thanks I just installed the same coilovers on my EP3 and was wanting to find a good camber kit.
