Glad the pet section is now in an enclosed space and air conditioned for the animals less chance of heat exhaustion or stroke. It used to be not like that in another persons TH-cam video. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Friends from Thailand team - good job all around on your channel - 5stars! Thanks Bam Bam for this jumbo review. I have been to Chatuchuk market previously, but such a long time ago... this makes me want to go again. They have certainly modernized it. It is HUGE!! I think everybody MUST visit it at least once to know what the hype is about, some like it, some feel it is a tourist magnet, but you will miss out if you don't go there at least one time. You gave a nice candid overview and be sure ppl, there is more to see to this market.. well done on the video. Will follow you guys from now on. (btw. you have a handsome brother.., I hear he calls you "pee Bam")
Wow! Great tour of the Market. I will definitely visit it when I go to Thailand next month. I've been to the country twice and have yet to visit the Market. Thank you so much for the very informative video.
nice walkthrough vid! it's nice to see the market in the day. the other time i was there in the evening on a fri & i was wondering why most stalls were closed 😂😅
First time in Thailand and I visited Happyland and the Mall across the street yesterday. From chatuchak stop 1 (just below mo chit train) take bus 8 directly or bus 145. Not sure if skytrain yellow line. Indoors and airconditioned was helpful.
Great Video Chon and Bam Bam! Im so excited as me and my friends are coming to Thailand for the first time in April for the Songkran Festival! So probably on my last weekend there we will check out the market! Question or maybe a comment though, I would have liked to have seen more stalls selling souvenirs like Thai keychains, magnets, knick knacks etc.....Could you guys either recommend me or show more stores/places in Bangkok that sell that sort of stuff? I think a lot more tourists like us would more interested in those kind of souvenirs than many other things to buy and take home for friends/family. Kawp Khun Krab! 🙏🏾
11'15" in the video Bam Bam shows a souvenir stall with keyrings, magnets, knick knacks. Their are lots more like that at Chatachuk and at every market all over Thailand, really, but they all sell very similar items.
I find the price of some clothes maybe **slightly** higher than other places, but mostly they ARE better quality and look good at that market. Muay thai pants, I will find you soon! Thx for the review.
Thanks for another great video. Have been to JJ market many times and hope to be back in February. I have a question, can you recommend a good, but not too expensive, dental clinic for replacing a filling in Bangkok. My friend has a loose filling and wants to replace it. Thanks a million.
Only place in bangkok felf unsafe and had my wallet pickpocketed and lost credit cards and a nightmare the assailants even tried to use them so lucky managed to get them cancelled so ruined my day my week . Such a same as its great so be wary if you are a tourist. I just had a bad experience but not reflective of anywhere else i have been in Bangkok or Thailand. I guess could be anywhere in the world just unlucky
@friends from thailand travel guide - you say you want to help foreigners in Thailand, i appreciate this. But Chatuchuk market is a rip off market and very overrated. I have been there many times. You only get ripped off there as the sellers think ALL foreigners are RICH which is not true. So in reality you are not helping but getting your subscribers ripped off at Chatuchuk market so I dont see the point in you making a number of videos about it unless you are being paid to promote the market???
You usually can find the same items at a lot of shops, so shop around. Take a picture of the shop address so you can return or you'll never find it again!
@tmt4773 - You're an imbecile! Sure, your criticism of the Chatuchak market holds a lot of weight in this channel. Sorry, who are f#ck are you again??? Not sure how you became the ambassador of shopping in Thailand but if you have nothing good to say, go start your own channel and see how successful it would be when viewers start shitting on it!
Did u see the things that they showcased? Prices are all transparent. Many people are going to vist, might as well be discerning and know what to go for. I visit Thailand at least once a year and can speak Thai. Chatuchak is too touristy for me but your comment is so uncalled for and exaggerated. Take responsibility for yourself.
AVOID chatuchuk market, its a rip off tourist market. I have been there many times and its not cheap. Don't fall for the hype about this market. In a few words you will be ripped off...
The video features good prices on items that Thais buy. If you are looking for items that only tourists buy, you should shop around and read up on bargaining.
She’s literally the cutest and funnest yt to watch!☺️ I could watch her for hours

They have to pay to be at the market so things are a little more expensive but you have to bargin everywhere

Why so bitter? Chon has shared many good places and many amazing tips. The title does not suggest the cheapest, it clearly states the biggest.

If buying elephant pants, pls wear it at home or to sleep not outside as it is disgusting.

Absolutely! There's 0 reason to ever go there. May as well go around Khaosan and think ur getting a "good deal".
Which market are cheaper?
