My wife and I love your videos and watch them on a regular basis. You are an excellent ambassador for Bangkok and Thailand. We are also impressed how your English speaking has improved. Well done. We landed in Bangkok on the weekend. Saw this video and on Sunday morning we went to Sam Yot neighborhood. The breakfast On On Lok Yun was fantastic! The line up was manageable. We waited only 20 minutes as the staff/owners very effective moving folks in and out. Definitely popular with the young locals but a good percentage of tourists who are discovering this place. My wife and I shared a two egg four toppings plate, with the ham and egg toasted sandwich and the steamed bread with Kaya. The food was excellent and inexpensive. We had a couple of cold drinks as well the house blend hot tea and the bill came to less than 300 baht. We will return and recommend. Also went to the Old Siam Mall. Also a great hidden gem. The shops were so interesting and the sweets and dessert stalls were amazing.
Older traditional neighborhoods have lot's of character and such interesting history. I love being around local Thai people of every age and personality. Great video, thank you 😊
I love older shopping malls just because there seems to be a lot of history with them and plus less crowded than more modern malls. Thanks for showing the Indian neighborhood area I would love to go there just to get a few things for a belly dancing costume. Thanks for showing us around and all the information too.
Thank you Chon and team for featuring this area of Bangkok. Sam Yot was my regular MRT station since I stayed at Issara Hostel last April 2023 for almost a week. The area has a lot of interesting stuff and more laid back than the city center. I’ll be coming back to Bangkok this April 2024 again and hopefully, I can stumble upon you. Your tips have been very helpful. One of your Filipino subscribers here.
Sawatdee 🙏Found your channel today while planning my next trip to Thailand. I don`t think you should worry about the mistake about visiting Ong Ang walking street on a Monday..... Mai ben rai - now you have a reason to go back again 🙂 I will surely follow you when I finish planning my trip. I have been to Thailand 10 times but there is so much more to see. I absolutely love Bangkok and cannot wait to go back. Great videos - keep up the good work Chon
I been here back in 2019 looking for fabrics with my friend. I really like this area. Probably less touristy area of bangkok and there’s a lot of fabrics to choose from with a very good bargain price. Nice to see you featuring this area in your video. Keep it up 👍🏽
The style of explaining and delivering information is beyond excellent and a very sophisticated style. good luck to you and all the best from sultanate of Oman
Dear Thai Friends, your guidance is truly exceptional! 🌟 Each video on your channel provides valuable insights and makes learning enjoyable. Keep up the fantastic work - your dedication shines through every video. Looking forward to more enlightening content! 👏
We are going to Bangkok soon and have loved watching your videos… thank you for the wonderful insights to this amazing city, too excited to see if for ourselves!😊
We were there 29th April 2024 at 8pm at night and the direction was difficult to find the swing. Anyhow we walked a good 15 minutes to the big swing. We were tired and got a taxi and they passed all the good food along the way on Dinso Street.
hi, i hope you can include in your videos as well if the stores or shops in bangkok are accepting debit/credit cards or cash? i believe this will be very helpful
If street selling is permitted, the seller should take care of the area where he or she sells, keeping garbage out all the time and making sure it doesn't get dirty or dirty with water.
It’s ashamed that The Old Siam cannot stayed as they intended to be when they started out, to focus on all things traditional Thai. Now it passed its prime and I would say for silk you better off else where, even back then it’s average quality.
This video is not made by our friend Chon. Quite frankly, it’s low in interest: the things this young girl shows are uninteresting such as the studio if there are any young actors, the trash, not a good job. I was expecting Chon, whose report is always interesting.
The chicken noodle is Khua gai Suan Mali. I prefer to eat at Ann khua gai as that place is air conditioned and it’s very important to eat in Bangkok! This khua gai is a dish I always eat when I am in Bangkok! Highly recommend
