Once you said Eufy and 'servers in China,' I won't trust it. While checking out your review, I read that Eufy also said that local storage remained local. However, the information was found uploaded to their 'servers in China.' China does not need to know what I am doing- outside or inside my home. Thank you for your review. I'm going Arlo.
14.11.2022 Great comparison and informative review, pity it wasnt a direct comparison between the new Eufy cam 3 & the Arlo pro 4 - Im still undecided and was leaning towards the Eufy Cam 3 as I do like the built in solar panel to charge the battery. Note: Device Deal is an Australian store in Victoria with great prices they are definitely worth checking them out.
No mentioning of the software features? Do they have geofencing in combination with time schedules? I’ve read that eufys human detection doesn’t work at night, is it the same with Arlo?
Can someone please give me some advice? I just want a camera that I can watch live feed when I want to. Is there any camera I can buy that doesn’t require an sd card or subscription? I dont need the storage

After watching this video I’m still not completely all the wiser about whether to go with Arlo or Eufy. How has your experience been with Arlo so far?
Would have been nice if you played their sirens too. I think arlo is louder and wanted to double check.

Does the Arlo base station has to be connected all the time to the router or is it needed only the first time during the setup?

Eufy shouldn’t even be advertised anymore given their lies and lax security

No, You don't need. They can connect direct to your Wifi

It strikes me that Arlo is by far the better system to buy.
Without the subscription your features are severly limited.
