@Bernard Brown Depends where you live and on the owner renting it. My 1 bedroom apartment is the equivalent of 170,000 pesos or $3,000 USD. I can go to the high crime ghetto near me and get a similar apartment for $2k a month, then if I go all the way to the middle of the country I can get an entire house for $900-$1400 a month but theres absolutely nothing around, no jobs, nothing to do, and the weather sucks. Location is everything.
I think I already saw this apartment on somebody else's channel. I think p13,000 is a good price and it's a good location. The only thing I would never want is a bathroom that has no separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. Take a shower and the whole damn thing is wet. The Philippines are normally about a year behind Thailand, who has legalized weed. Last I saw was a bill was pushed to legalize medicinal marijuana at the end of February
I’m hoping the Philippines never legalises it ever. It’s unnecessary and invites the criminal element. The Philippines is great the way it is. They need to keep western ideas and ways out. @@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 yes i,m living in Calindagan
What's involved with getting a driver's licence if you have a US driver's license?
Go down to the DL license place and apply. Pretty simple. I don’t see the need to get one though
Nice looking place but too bad they didn't put split ac units in. Big mistake in my opinion. Good video
Yes, that is my friend’s biggest complaint is that little unit only cools the bedroom
not a bad looking apartment for the price, but the curfew is a deal breaker. feels like you're in a prison and get a daily furlough.
I spoke to my friend, and he didn’t even know anything about a curfew. He comes and goes as he pleases and has never had an issue with having guests. They may have put that up during Covid
13,000 Pp... oh my!!!
Sign me up. They want 91,000 Pp for my Studio apartment- no bedroom, but full balcony in Toronto. For a 60 year old apartment with a thru the wall a.c.. That's $2,199 Can... And that's a steal in Toronto's Old Yorkville Village...
Thinking of a SRRV, for my early retiement, exxxxxtended Vacay, Tropical island Philippines experience!!!
Thanks for watching Glen, I appreciate it 😉
What a great apartment I am wondering who to get in touch with when I go to Manila in December 2024 to reacquired for my Philippines citizenship in Manila so that I can buy some land in Dumaguete late 2025. Pls include informations contact number or address to rent a space from the landlord or owners. Thank you!
Gawd those chickens 😅
Welcome to the Philippines 😂
can you find another one like Mark n Jens place?
I’ll try, thanks for watching!
Hi good evening , can you tell me where is this place ? Becouse im looking apartment thanks
These are the JTJM Apartments. The phone number: (0927) 399 6696
You didn't delete the first try...
How to can I contact the owner please?
Good place for a single guy. Looking for a 3 bedroom house with a nice yard? 😊😊😊😊
Thanks for watching Mighty! Yes, he says he has no complaints
690 if you watch old dog I think he did a vid on a friend with a compound that might have what you're looking for.
Curfew and no visitors! Is it a halfway house?
That's a deal killer. Not for me.
@@rustynail3630 -Exactly, it kills the deal for me also.
For Covid only.
I asked him about that and he didn’t know anything about it. He’s never had an issue coming or going, or had issues with guests. Maybe that was something during Covid
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 -Could be. I wouldn't want to live there.
This is shocking--no guests allowed (as indicated on the sign at the entrance).
That’s not enforced, and my buddy didn’t even know about it until other viewers brought this up. Perhaps it was something they did during Covid. He’s never had an issue coming or going, or having any guests come and go
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 That's good to know. I was also thinking that sign may have only been enforced during the times when covid was bad and restrictions appeared in other places too.
Is there available unit?
A lot of foreigners live in this area which will push the price up.
Yes Ian, it’s a pretty good location. 10 minutes from Dumaguete, 10 minutes from Valencia, and about 10 minutes to Dauin
is safety really a concern in dumaguete
No, it’s mainly petty crimes like theft. I’ve had a helmet stolen off my bike, but nothing serious. You’re safe here as long as you stay out of politics and away from drugs.
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 thats so true tim! just like when i visited cebu city, told the taxi driver, no politics please.
Where is this place.
The Dumaguete/Bacong line
Name of the apartment please every clean in peaceful..
They added a generator about 3 months ago making it even better 😉
Hi may I know which part in Dumaguete..
Sta Monica Rd and the national highway in southern Dumaguete….almost to Bacong
im looking for something in Valencia or Dumaguete i should be coming there around the first of the year about 10 to 13 k if you can get me some leads it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for watching Bobby! I am meeting with my realtor this morning. I’ll see what they have. I’m pretty much at their mercy
Seems way too expensive for the Philippines for that tiny place. If it was ocean front maybe I could see it
Thanks for watching Rick! If you know the name of a cheaper apartment complex in Dumaguete with car parking, let me know the name. I’ll go do a video there😉
Where is it located?
Thanks for watching RAF! This is basically on the Dumaguete/Bacong line, right off the national highway
Thats a rip off my babe is renting in bogo cebu a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom with laundry room plus 24 hr guard for only 8000 pesos mth.
That’s Cebu, not Dumaguete, not even the same island. It’s cheaper to live in Cebu because of availability. I’m sure I can look on another island and find a better deal than what your girl is getting. Just like in the country you live in. It’s all relative. Thanks for watching!
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 well it depends where in cebu you live mactan newtown its not cheap but mandaue and lapu lapu are .
@@bernardbrown2054 which is exactly what he described in his reply.
@@leebomccool8997 i get it dude ok
I think I already saw this apartment on somebody else's channel. I think p13,000 is a good price and it's a good location. The only thing I would never want is a bathroom that has no separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. Take a shower and the whole damn thing is wet. But apart from that, I think it's nice as a starter's place.
You can install a rod and shower curtain, it should solve the issue.
👍🏻
Hi Sir , how i can contact the owner of this apartment , i come nex month to sleep dumaguete , and also i'am a new Subsciber !!!!
Thanks Roland! I apologize for the late response. It’s the JTJM Apartments. Their number is +639273996696
Its ok . Thank you so much !!!
You broke 2,000😊
Yeah man, it’s crazy how fast the little channel is growing. I’m very grateful to everyone who has helped it get to where it is
$200+ for that? Seems pricey to me.
Thanks for watching Neil! That’s what you have to pay if you want to live in that location. Supply and demand

We need the lowdown as to where the PH government is headed on marijuana legislation over the next couple of years please.
The Philippines are normally about a year behind Thailand, who has legalized weed. Last I saw was a bill was pushed to legalize medicinal marijuana at the end of February
just what they need is more dope heads lol
I’m hoping the Philippines never legalises it ever.
It’s unnecessary and invites the criminal element.
The Philippines is great the way it is.
They need to keep western ideas and ways out.
I’m sick of people coming here and trying to change it.
If you don’t like the Philippines the way it is then stay in the west.
@@prepperjonpnw6482 Yeah I don't really think there are any Westerners in the Philippines gov. making marijuana laws. Filipinos make their own laws.
Wow 13k a month looks like it should be 7 or 8 max that's expensive dont care how secure or what area its in

I don’t understand. Thailand is much better.
That’s your opinion, which I respect. People here like that they speak English, they can read the language, Americans like they drive on the right side of the road, and the Philippines government is much more receptive to foreigners.
