Im watching at this moment and we are going back home to the Philippines and Ilo ilo is the place we are going to live, we would appreciate if you can help us to find a kind a house like this, good luck to your new channel ❤
That is a great home! I'd consider it if I was in the area. It looks very relaxing to stay there and the electric "trike" is a big bonus to assist with personal transportation.
This is my kinda house - it's beautiful and has everything u could want and more. The pool is ideal, the wee car thingy and I love that the basketball hoop is just right for me at five feet tall lol. Gonna be very lucky tenants for sure. Thanks for the great share ♡
Mike… new to your channel. Great viewing on this house. That place is a WOW. Bathroom mirror nightlight..etc very cool Touch. Possibilities with that backyard… Practice putting green with a water trap lol can’t get there for a visit soon enough later this year. I have to squeeze in for 30 days but definitely wanted to check out Iloilo. Big fan of Texas Filipino he’s the one that got me interested in the Philippines in the first place in 2020.🇨🇦🙏
Hi Mike! I wish that will still be available next year! I will try to get in touch with you as soon as we get there. Hopefully, this house will still be available.
Thank you for sharing! I wish that expats could own property in the Philippines but sometimes it is better to rent than buy. I wonder what a place like that would cost if it were for sale? It's interesting, I lived a few years in the Dominican Republic and the houses look somewhat similar! I rented a 3 bedroom lower level duplex with a large pool for $900/mo in 2017.
Consider Baguio. Its where we are moving and we are from Bradenton. If you have the money...its the very best place in the Phiippines to retire. Otherwise your stuck with Florida summer weather year round. Baguio is 70-78 degrees all summer and cooler in the winter.
Remember you are responsible for anything that breaks. Unfurnished is the way to go if you are going to retire here. But I like the no maintenance yard. I like the layout.
Not unless you know this is the house you will be staying in. Most people like to move around a lot until they find the location that fits them. Carrying a refrigerator on your back in the airport is hard to do.
Most people DON'T prefer to be near the gate. That is where it is loudest from the traffic. If that makes you feel safe it means your security isn't doing their job to begin with.
Hi.. I don't think they realize that because we're not friends etc.. messages go to a special section..that his almost hidden.. they have not seen my message from yesterday. Maybe u could let them know.. I know you're very busy.. thx so much..sure we'll meet sometime future. Thx for all. Take care
Mike, you can get for your home a similar but above-ground dipping pool from the 'Canadian Tire' department store back home in Ontario. not expensive. they have inflatable pool loungers with cup holders too
I don’t love Manila. While you are there however I can make a recommendation that many don’t visit…if you have a chance to walk around the American cemetery in BGC….its a relaxing part of the city that is peaceful. As long as you’re respectful, the staff will allow you to walk the grounds uninterrupted with no real time limit.
@@randellt Paco Park is another peaceful spot. The old Spanish Cemetery.,. Lots of wedding photos are done here… General Lawton was buried here before being moved to Arlington. He was awarded the Medal of Honor. A lesser known tourist spot but still worth a an hour.
@@aboveitall9600 I am thankful to say my 5th grandfather was Gen. George Rogers Clark.. His brother William Clark... So I truly appreciate the freedom we have today.. Both here and in the USA. FROM all the sacrifices made.
When you say "western standards" you're overselling it a little. But it is very good for the province. I've been building here in the Philippines for the last 18 months and I can tell the owner put a lot of effort into making sure it's a quality home. I'd be interested what the water pressure and quality is like. And while I'm unsure of the roof size this home is prime for a little solar, even 2kW would make a huge dent on the electricity bill.
Guys, if you can find any owner that understands western expectations when it comes to quality of homes in the Philippines… I highly recommend at least checking out there listings. This being owned by an expat is a big plus in my book. I have wasted time and money on false promises and faced straight out lies…money is a strong motivator for people to attempt to take you.
Hi when the time we bought the property that lazy river was already there and we just fixed and tiled because it was in very bad condition. More or less we spent €1500 including the labor.
@@joyhowells9898yeah we added a small pump and filter (about 300 euro I think and?) and some pipework. All very cheap to do in Filipines. Workers are generally very skilled and hard working, and not expensive

Hello, I have a weird question if you don't mind. My wife and I are looking to rent a house in Pototan. Do you know of anyone renting out a place in that area? We have looked online and have had no luck finding anything. I know that usually word of mouth works best over here. Thank you for any help, we appreciate it.
