Happy Belated Birthday, Matt! I too agree that the OE logo is the best one out there (to use your words, "it's not shabby or wonky"). I purchased an OE sweatshirt and it arrived this week. The quality is great and the embroidered logo is sharp. I'll send a photo when I'm up on my 51 year old C&C 30 mk1.
Install a loop of line at the base of your outboard shrouds(rigging) to attach your halyards to when they are not in use or just attach them to your safety lines to keep them from slapping the mast in the wind. You will thank me and your marina mates will thank me.
I like your effort on the doors. I’m thinking of doing something similar. The locking/latching is difficult as someone can lock you in from the outside. Im trying to think up a solution for that. With the boards, you just flip them and the latch is on the inside. Anyway, great effort!
Yeah, the locking mechanism on these doors I'd rate as 'privacy focused' rather than 'security focused'. Sure, one could lock us in, but a shoulder to the doors from the inside out would pop them right open I would imagine. Please share what you come up with!
Let your wife know to carry a fender when you are docking. That way, she can hold the line to the fender wherever you hit or potentially hit. It's really just a spare fender you keep mobile.
1970+50=2020. Did this episode take place 4 years ago? Irregardless I enjoy your videos and love the boat. I had 2 different Columbia 26 from the Sixties. Great and very simple to sail, like Choy Lee
@OffshoreEsprit *_ "Horses for Courses" and the choice is yours but I for one have just unsubbed .... why... T-Shirt at **18:56** ..... not into anyone or anything that even glorifies Satan in anyway. Have a good life. Cheers! _*

Absolutely! Send it to offshoreesprit@gmail.com! We'll get your photo featured in a video somehow... :)

great job guys! Here from Mexico City... with Boat in Pensacola and Isla Mujers
Mexico City is on our bucket list!
That's awesome. P'Cola is the best!
Great episode Matt! It still gives me anxiety watching you dock the boat 😂. The doors turned out great.
Same on the docking anxiety 😂
Thanks Jordan! Whenever you are ready for a dose of anxiety... come on down! :)
Enjoy the content
Happy Birthday to you and your boat! I am enjoying watching your projects, keep up the good work its looking good.
Thank you very much!
Good job. Black teak deck caulking would also look good for the door joints 😊
That's a great suggestion.
Right on I have lots of tools for boat work if you ever need I’m on the end of your dock and do boat work, but don’t judge my boat lol. Clean edits✨👌

Thanks for the advice!

I know... I'm rounding down. Give an aging guy a break! haha Thanks for watching!
Hahahahahaha you caught Matt on the round down 😂😂😂
Loved this one, Matt! Great work 🍻 (I was WAY more confident in your work than you 😂)
Thanks for the positive vibes!
There is a reason the racing rules specify Wash Boards, not doors. I will always have wash boards
The washboards actuall still slide in behind the doors, in the event we ever actually take this boat out in real weather...
Dose any random comment help lol
Let's find out!
