Thanks for the insightful video! I agree with you! I also think Taylor was cornered into making that public endorsement, especially given the current political climate. Her “calm over chaos” line was spot on though. She's one of the most influential people in the world and it has skyrocketed even more with the world tour. Now that she has endorsed Harris, I believe she should actively contribute to helping her win the election. I’d also be interested to hear your thoughts on the reasons behind the alliance between Trump and Musk, for example. The poll probably reflects her current oversaturation in the media. Added to that, her latest album felt a bit esoteric, especially for men, and the very public NFL romance hasn't helped her sophisticated image either. Still, she's a billionaire, so who knows what’s next-maybe even politics? Life in the TS world is never dull! Keep up the great work!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video. Personally, I don't think celebrity endorsements matter much -- that said, one soundbite I did not include in this video was Trump's former Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney saying if any endorsement was going move the needle even a little bit, he believes it's Taylor Swift's because she reaches an audience that typically doesn't vote in this country: single women 18-25. He said if Taylor can boost turnout among young women, it could make a real impact in a close election. I'd love to see Tay do more get-out-the-vote campaigns -- but I think she's over being everyone's political punching bag and probably wants to focus on ending her tour on a high note. As for Elon -- I think he appeals to Trump's base so is good for motivating people at rallies, but I don't think he brings anyone new into Trump world. What do you think?
@@blakingnews Thanks for the reply - clearly, you're the expert here! In my opinion, a few well-timed public appearances from Taylor would do the trick for Harris. She's as articulate and relatable as ever. And her conservative country fans who once crowned her their "Aryan princess" probably still have secret shrines. Sure, she’s facing plenty of hate (real or fake, hard to tell at this point), but she’s far too big to be canceled now. Stepping up as an outspoken advocate would be admirable- why stop when she’s already halfway there? But that's just my wishful thinking. You’re likely right on all fronts. All the best and many successes to you!
I hadn't even heard of the US Open Brittany Mahomes drama! I don't know what I was doing that day but clearly, I was caught up in my own drama ;) Super interesting.
Hopefully celebrities realize that nobody cares what they think. Even Taylor Swift. Swifties threatening to boycott if she doesn’t endorse Harris? Lol. Most of them doing that aren’t even old enough to vote.
