As a casual WoW player who loves Warcraft lore and who has been somewhat disappointed with quite a few things in the lore since part of BFA, all of Shadowlands and part of Dragonflight (although personally in the latter I have had a good time at the gameplay level) , I think good times are coming for WoW.

how can you love lore but enjoy this garbage, are you a Blizzard shill pretending to be a lore guy?
In the same way that you have the right to not like WoW anymore, there are thousands and thousands of people who are happy with the new direction of the lore, the funny thing is that you really believe that this is anecdotal support from a random guy like I. Please respect that you do not have a monopoly on WoW and that your opinion is not the truth nor is it representative of all WoW players.
Learn to respect the opinions of others, we are not all nostalgic for a past that will not return, history cannot remain eternally widows of Arthas. Artha is dead and they should have left him dead (Shadowlands ruined everything).
Ya'll negative commenters literally sound like linkin park fans that keep complaining why the band is not producing the same music like they did when they just came out. Genres grow, people grow and taste change overtime. Stay small in the past.
It's almost like doing the same thing for 20 years would get boring after a while. I wouldn't want to play a game that's constantly bloodshed and massacres either. I respect people's opinions but you can't expect a game to stay the exact same after so long.
I don't know man, how can anyone at Blizzard think that this still makes any sense. It's just another generic villain going for world domination. Feels very meaningless, why even bother if the next villain is going to be around the next corner anyway, having plotted and waited for eternities as usual. Even DF, the one addon that seemed to be a bit more relaxed, eventually had to have another super villain. Not that I mind good stories, and they do tell them pretty well, but are we really just stumbling from one global and sometimes even interstellar catastrophe into another for the last and next 15 years?
You clearly dont known any of the story if you think this is just another villain, this villain has been set up since legion, and its also present on SoD
@@holyrs1575 just like the jailer has apparently been set up since WotLK. They had that void questline at the end of legion and then they went on with something else for 3 addons, giving endless hints in all directions here and there to make things seem thought-out. Just like Illidan, Aszhara or Sylvanas will be recycled again as soon as they need them and in the meantime, they give you no-name villains like Fyrakk, who's again threatening the world. You can't tell me they planned all this. Maybe it's getting better with the world saga, but the wow universe has become pure chaos

@@H-D-D Onyxia is my favorite villain in WoW. The Lady Katrina storyline is 10/10. shes badass for real. This trailer on the other hand is just woke nonsense. Star wars acolyte vibes.
As a casual wow player and someone that primarily plays classic, this expansion is unrecognizable to me. Doesn’t look like WoW. Retail truly is a completely different game than the WoW I enjoy.
@@jaymzOG its not the context, its the feeling of it. this aint no Warcraft anymore. anyone who knows real warcraft (the books, the warcraft 3, the wow classic,bc,wotlk) will tell you the same. its just not the same game anymore and not even the same story anymore. The way they shown Xa'latath face in this was just an absolute masterpiece - total psycho!
i love psycho girls
I loved the way the envoy for the black empire looked and sounded so cool.

I guess the reason why people still love it is because they have a very great foundation although they keep fucking it up
How you keep talking shit and still watch wow content and wow streamers? Get a life move on

Nice job cultivating toxic audience Xaryu. Your comment section is trash. Just stay away from retail.
I don’t wanna blame Xar cuz he’s positive but this comment section is insane haha it’s like an Asmon comment section
lmao triggered retail andys, go back to your echo chamber with gay dragons and gay centaurs and gay frogs
Xaryu kind of a cool dude, his community is absolute garbage dude.
ya man! they sure can tell the same story over and over! yr right about that!

What do you want then? Most games rely on there being villain who gets defeated and then there's a new villain in the expansion.

this trailer reeks girlboss yassqueen feminine vibes. this isnt warcraft
100% agree just full of girl bosses and women warriors no testosterone at all...
I know right. It's basically anytime a female is on screen. Wow should really be just men only.

I mean yeah you're mainly playing a 20 year old version of the game, so you're missing 20 years of context.
I mean Nerubians that are shown in this cinematic are a race introduced in warcraft 3, Facelss ones and void entities too

Chill out bro. You're left 8 comments under this video, about how trash retail is. Take a shower and go touch some grass
Why don't you post a cinematic and write a story yourself since you think you can do better?
