Pepper soup and fufu can make my belleh buss quicker than Palm Butter. Lol. But I like plenty soup so that could be it. I don't have GB soup often so I can't call that one.
But yes, my mother is from Maryland County and she and my Grebo aunties make palm butter that has more of a bisque consistency and always with palm butter leaf. So I've been taught to make it the same way as well. Not too watery and not too thick but goes perfect with either rice or fufu. Palm butter is one of three dishes (cassava leaf and pepper soup) I leave out my top 5 🇱🇷 dish list cuz it can spoil it for the other dishes I think belong on my list 😅. Like you and your sister I need my check rice and slippery soups.
