I just purchased at 1794 hybrid and wow the power is unbelievable very smooth ride what a truck to drive and the interior with those seats and ambient lighting
Nice comparison. Definitely worth a watch. I will have to say though that the analysis of price is completely off. After this video I went to fords website and built a King Ranch F150 with roughly the same options as the 2022 1794 tundra. The F150 came out to an MSRP of $76K+. That’s about $11K more than the tundra 1794. So those that are complaining about the new price of the tundras I encourage you to price out other brands. FYI the F150 only has a 26 gallon tank…you want more $445 option to get to 36 while the tundra standard tank is 32.2 gallons. That’s just one example. The tundra is by far the better buy here!
I love the new Tundra. I think they nailed the styling. If I couldn't get a Tundra I would choose Ram. However I did order the Tundra platinum hybrid. I looked across brands, looked at power, torque, styling, and towing. For what I wanted, Toyota delivers. People talk about "all the problems" Toyota has had. They have been minor and Toyota is addressing them. Those that pop-off about how bad the issues are, seem to forget their favorite brand/truck isn't flawless.
My two favorite trucks as well and the other ones mentioned have work to do to catch up. I'm disappointed to hear rumors that some Tundra models are already experiencing problems but word on the street is that the future models in a year or two should gradually improve.
Oh really? I'm sure Toyota is still knew with the turbo engines. I'm sure they will get things sorted out if anyone is having issues. Very nice truck overall tho
I have a 2016 Ford F 150 King Ranch with the 3.5L Ecoboost and right at 300,000 miles with no engine problems at all, and I have had a couple others with over 200,000 miles and no issues. That's a silly statement.
Fan of F150s but huge fan of the Tundra the more see the truck ... more loving it even more hate has some issues. Very disappointed got a 3.5L V6 no more V8s see Toyota cut corners now at first didn't care of the Tundra finally grew on me a nice truck.
I believe the Ford is also subscription nav, but at least it displays a map only so you can see where you're at. But then again, maybe they assume buyers will set up Android auto / apple car play for nav.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I saw/heard them from other "reviewers", here on youtube, plus I just spent time w/an experienced salesperson, here in FW. I am looking for a NON-Hybrid, 2WD, poss. LONG bed, leather seats/running boards, 20" whls. TUNDRA.
a solid choice fr sure. Really hard pressed to have a clear winner. THe Tundra has grown on me tho. I like it better just because the drivetrain is more refined and its unique looking. But I would probably still buy a Raptor if I bought a truck
I am a fan of both Toyota and Ford but the Toyota Tundra with the 3.5L turbo V6 plus the company's solid reputation for reliability wins me over the Ford.
I wouldnt say they copied. Toyota has a very popular 3.5L V6 they have used for like a decade. So they probably revised it to work with turbos. So it's not that they copied Ford. It's just they have a very highly produced engine that happens to be the same displacement.
@@SkyViewAerialProductions Both trucks just happened to have the similar displacement. You could argue though that Toyota hopped on the "Turbo Bandwagon" that Ford is also on.
I wish you would compare towing and payload capacities of the 2 trucks you are comparing instead just throwing out the general numbers. I’m sure the King ranch you had did not have a payload anywhere near the 2100 lb payload you quoted. It’s my understanding getting 2100 lb payload is like finding a unicorn, very unlikely. Doesn’t seem like a fair comparison. However thanks for the video.
A 2100 lbs payload in the F150 is not that rare, the unicorn you speak of has a payload of 3325 lbs. to get that, you would need a no options, two wheel drive, regular cab, with an 8’ bed, and the “heavy duty payload package”. Usually not found on the dealer lots. It would need to be ordered in.
Personal preference and what you need it for! I have the short bed on my tacoma and it works well for dirt bikes and motorcycles, but better offroad than the long bed, so just a preference!

Sweet! Hopefully I can check one out at some point!

Also- i never thought i would like a GREEN truck, but this one is actually sharp!
It’s a cool color on this Toyota!

Toyota Tundra has "Engine Sound Enhancement" system...works w/noise canceling system to give a more "sporty" exhaust sound.
I have a 2016 Ford F 150 King Ranch with the 3.5L Ecoboost and right at 300,000 miles with no engine problems at all, and I have had a couple others with over 200,000 miles and no issues. That's a silly statement.
Ford all the way!! Was a tundra user and fan for many years. Very happy with my 2022 super duty!
Well a SuperDuty isnt in the class of these two. Toyota doesnt make a competitor to that. SD is the way to go for major towing for sure

Yeah crazy to not have the V8 option like Ford does. But overall the new Tundra is a solid truck. The looks grew on me a lot!

2023 Toyota Tundra owner reports 18mpg TOPS! Why?
2023 Ford F-150 owners reporting "quality is job NONE." Why?
Where do you find those responses from?

King ranch all day. Aluminum body, lots more features, roomier back seat and no humps , looks better than Tundra I think.

Duma
I’d have the F-150.
Great option! I don't think you could go wrong with either to be honest

f-150s got the same engine, toyota copied them
For sure! Toyota is a rock solid brand!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed i see, thanks for clearing this up when it came out I was very confused
Was that a 1794 off road?
Yes it was (that’s in the title too 😄)
And tundra is faster than F-150
I don’t think that’s true. The Tundra has less horsepower and is heavier than the F-150.
The Tundra does feels quicker. Just drives so much smoother. Both are similar tho
Yeah true. But the Tundra is so much smoother
According to all the magazines tests, and TH-cam videos, the F150 is faster by a considerable margin.

I mentioned the max capacity. You can order the truck with all the towing options if you want.

Ford f150 king ranch hybrid 👍
Good choice! That'd be a good blend of everything!
Thank you 👍
Yes GM needs to step up, but I do believe that Ram still has the nicest interior after checking out all of them
I know the new generation Sierra and Silverado are pretty sweet on the inside! Can't wait to check them out! RAM is nice too!
Not a fan of short bed trucks.

Compared to your recent baby hot pocket Veloster videos these megatrons are kinda boring 😛🥱
lol, we do all sorts of reviews, test drives and comparisons! We have more videos of that Veloster coming though!!
Buy a ford if you want a truck then
I’m just making a comparison lol, I don’t need a truck as of now.
Neither
lol what truck would you buy then?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed tundra for me. I just ordered one, can't wait to get it.
